    The PSU dust filter on my corsair 750D constantly makes an obnoxiously loud buzzing sound I don't know how to make it stop other than occasionally re-positioning it. Has anyone else had this issue before and if so how did you fix it?

    I'd love to have an excuse to upgrade my mobo and RAM, also the fact this a CPU I won't be able to afford until I graduate is a plus too.

    The mobo is a Gigabyte Z77-D3H I have plugged the fan into a different header and it worked but it's just not working in sys_fan2 specifically.

    Hey, I recently upgraded my set of case fans to Noctua NF-A14 PWM fans, everything seemed to go together just fine until I noticed that after booting through the BIOS the fan plugged into sys_fan2 is not being recognized or powered at all. It still spins upon initially powering on, and I have plugged it into different headers to make sure the problem wasn't with the fan itself but I've narrowed the issue down to the motherboard header for sure. help? :unsure:

    I don't really remember how I got into LTT, it just kind of happened from me browsing YouTube when I started getting into PC gaming in 2012.

    I'd wait til the winter/fall sale to buy some steam games, if you think you'll make some more money between now and Spetember/Novemeber I'd go for the Headphones, the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pros are my top reccomendation as a starter pair (http://dft.ba/-ascr) if you see them on Massdrop.com for under $150 get them

    Yeah but I was just looking for a reason to spend the extra $100 per monitor over something with only slightly bigger bezels.

    Darn Edit: have you tried OC'ing it? if so did you get good results?

    What is the refresh rate of the monitor because if it's just 60hz I think I'd just end up dealing with the bezels and save roughly $100 per monitor and get something else?

    Can someone help me find a thin bezel monitor like this ( http://www.amazon.com/AOC-i2367Fh-23-Inch-Frameless-Monitor/dp/B009V8F700/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_i ) but with Vesa mounts so I can put three of them together on a stand? I've looked all over Amazon and every similar monitor I've found never seems to have Vesa mounts which is ridiculous...

    If someone makes an Xbox 360 emulator we'll see it happen, but I don't expect an official release to ever happen.

    Yes sadly it is, I have a windows instillation disk so if need be I could crack it. The current plan is to use some for of transferred or cracked windows 7 until she goes to school, because windows is usually around $15 at on campus computer store (or at least at my college it is so I can just buy it from there as a worse case scenario)

    My sister wants to build a budget desktop and I was wondering if it was possible to transfer the windows 7 installation from her old laptop to a new desktop hard drive. She's going to toss out the laptop after she gets a new one for school along with the desktop, so I might be able to use the hard drive from it in the desktop too, but I'm fairly sure windows throws a fit if you try to boot it on a different motherboard than the one it was originally installed on.

    Honestly I don't know, he just want's me to build him something ridiculous with features he probably won't use just because he might want to learn them someday. He's been using a potato laptop for quite a while but now he just wants something crazy because he can afford it.

    My dad want's me to build him a a new workstation desktop for $2200, this budget includes the OS, Monitors, Keyboard and Mouse. Can anyone give me some recommendations on what to get for this build? And this (http://dft.ba/-9KLY) is the case I would like to use.

    So I recently purchased this router and I'm having trouble getting it to work with the discover utility in order to set it up. Usually this stuff goes rather smoothly but now I can't get it to connect at all and google hasn't been to friendly with giving me help on what to do so I'm starting to fear I got a defective unit which wouldn't be too bad just inconvenient.
