The fact that the RX 570 goes for under $100 now, and the 1050 ti is at $100, and the RX 580 beats the 1060 in a similar way, surprises me more and more when I recall market share and steam analytics. AMD kicks Nvidia's ass in value, is the mindshare so powerful against AMD that they can't sell?

You can get 1060 6GBs used for $130. Cards are selling pretty well right now.

AMD is good for lower budget systems; however, enthusiasts generally buy upper-end which is dominated by Nvidia, so most people are recommended Nvidia products.

The hell, you can buy 570s for $100 now?

@Imbellis well, Vega 56 is also doing pretty well on the used market, although its initial problem was stock. Still, the vast majority of gamers are below enthusiast tier, and the most owned graphics card on steam is the 1060, despite the 580 having superior value at the same performance.

Oh, honestly it'd be a little wiser to go off of new prices then mention that you can find them for whatever amount used. At least that's what I'd do.

well, the new prices are still about $30 less on the 570 than the 1050 ti, and again a similar story with 580 vs 1060.
