  1. I've had one of these fail and it was still causing issues even when I disabled it. JUNK
  2. I'd look up any symptoms that have been solved with resetting it
  3. Just out of curiosity, can you do a file transfer over your local internet through steam to another computer? I don't know if I'm wording it correctly, but when steam transfers a game from one PC to another over local internet.
  4. Try sliding it back away from the PCI connecter
  5. It's not impossible that the CPU needs to be re-seated, I've had that happen to a Core I3
  6. That's goofy. Odd question, what type of CPU?
  7. I don't see why you couldn't but I don't know from experience
  8. I didn't see this message earlier, resetting the BIOS would help.
  9. Does the num-lock key on your keyboard light up? I'd recommend try clearing the BIOs, which can either be searched or found in your motherboards manual.

  12. Windows actually has native Xbox controller support, just do your research through settings.
  13. Any lights on the board on? Or what about the num-lock light on your keyboard.
  14. Try using a HDMI display, it sounds like that vga converter is giving up or doing something weird.
  15. Yes, sorry for no specifics. Gaming headset, like $80-$150 and possibly Logitech as a brand preference, just to minimize different applications I need to control different peripherals.
  16. FPS issues as in dropped frames, or overall lower FPS? I wouldn't imagine it should cause much issue, unless there's an underlying issue.
  17. I'm planning soon on upgrading my headset, and am looking for some advice. Ideally I'd like a USB-C receiver and charging, either than that I'm open for ideas. Currently I have a Corsair Void Pro RGB, and besides the Micro-B, Battery life is running short and headset itself is showing wear.
  18. If you can boot with another GPU, take a look at windows event viewer, and see if you can scroll down and find any errors that lead up to a crash. I've been able to use that to find out about bad drivers.
