Hey there, I have a rather odd issue that I've run into with my new build. Whenever i go to download anything my download speed throttles down to 10 mb/s. I have it hooked up Ethernet and have other devices like my Xbox hooked up as well. every thing else runs up to 75 to 100 mb/s as it normal does. I've run system checks and see that it says network is at 100% load. although i can do things like stream 4k and game online without the slightest bottleneck. Ran out of ideas on what could be causing this....

Light editing by putting audio over video. little touch ups. I just ask because I'm running raid 0 on 2ssds right now, at 2Tb, but am looking to do an upgrade ( for protection). I couldn't find anything saying if it's ideal to run one or the other so this has been helpful. I've been using a Western digital blue ssd and a Samsung 850 evo together (with oddly slow write speeds). I'd prefer to be running the same manufacture as well as adding in extra security to the data, so i'll definitely keep the 545s in mind. Then add the other two to make a raid 10 system for backups.

I'm looking for about 2TB total. of course faster is better (mostly for gaming and recording) Light editing. I have a 5TB external to hold editing footage so the capacity should be ok at 2 TB.

Hey there everyone, I'm still a bit new to the computer building world and had a question. What is better to run for raid? Two SSds together or run a single SSD and a single HDD together. I'm planing to run with raid 10 but wasn't sure what the best set up was in regards to speed and performance.

After putting in lots of time put into finding the issue with leads from shops on my old system. I knew over time HHds have an issue that when the drives get old they just kind of give out. SSDs on the other hand dont write memory in the same way but there could be a way in the systems files something may have been written over or wasn't properly saved during a shut down. this could cause the system to lock up at different intervals without a "reason" and is very hard to diagnose just one possibility

I was having an issue like this before with one of my computers. I swapped out the hard drive to a new SSD and it fixed the issue. I dont know it fit was a HHD issue and only happened because of that or information derogation over time. So, I'd suggest trying a new ssd

I have tried that as well and it just kicks me to the bios page and the boot order is right. i get blinking in the top left corner of the screen and it sends me to bios.

Hey Everyone, I've had an issue that i've had for a little while and i can't figure it out.? I have a fresh version of windows on a Flash drive ( Usb Stick) and i'm having an issue getting it to boot on a SSD. I get the installer to get though where you partition the drive and it makes 4 separate files but when the computer restarts and is supposed to loop to get to the SSD windows set up it sets me back to go through the partition and pre install screen. I have turned raid off and have made sure the boot order is correct for the second boot. been trying quite a lot any ideas what the issue could be? - I have a old hard drive that i through in the rig to see it its a bios issue, but it doesn't seem to be, because it loads it. all be it very slowly because the hard drive has issues....

Yea, i'm probably going to search the market and wait till I find a good deal on something out there. Im not going to die without it just gaming on my mac just isn't a thing haha. So, I'm starting to move from console into the PC universe and would rather a good experience if it means waiting a little longer. Although I figured i'd ask for advice because i'm a Noob ?

Thank you for the heads up! That could be another path I could look at to take, granted if I can find one for a decent price. Honestly anything will be better than the 210 I have in there right now haha.

Hello there this is my first build and I have a very tight budget for my graphics card and am building a gaming PC. I have everything except for a Graphics card and would like a few opinions on what to do my current build is as follows. CASE: Corsair Spec 1 MB: H170 Asus pro gaming SSD: Samsung 280 250GB Ram: 2x4 Corsair Vengeance CPU: I5 6600K - H100v2 cooled PSU: Corsair 750 I have looked at the 1050 and 780 Ti although I'm kind of lost on what to do any suggestions out there?
