  1. I agree that Steam has some good parental controls/sharing. Gives me optimism. Though I'm interested in whether anyone knows about Steam Deck specifically. How can I prevent my children from simply playing in my profile, for example? Account limits/sharing is great, but no use if they can simply log in to my profile on the Deck at the touch of a button.
  2. Anyone have any insight into parental controls on the Steam Deck? Any profile locks? App-specific restrictions? Anything at all? As a fellow dad of a few, I'd soak up that kind of content if added as talking points to reviews. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the comments. After following TastyPCs review link above, and getting lost down the internet rabbit hole (thanks @mikeeginger), I stumbled across a 250D custom water cooling build log by Corsair. In part 1 of the build log they state: "On the 250D, we only have 55mm of clearance to work with". So depending on your motherboard, it's likely that it will fit, though very snuggly. Source: Corsair Obsidian Series 250D "God Lives Underwater" Build Log: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/january/250dpart1 http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/january/250dpart2 http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/february/250dpart3 http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/blog/2014/february/corsair-obsidian-series-250d-god-lives-underwater-build-log-part-4-the-finished-build http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/blog/2014/february/the%20obsidian%20250d%20god%20lives%20underwater%20build%20log%20part%205%20overclocking%20and%20thermals (bonus points for consistent URL naming conventions...clearly not a programmer) I also got a reply from Corsair on their customer service support website (corsair.secure.force.com), and they say that it will fit. Ticket: Response: I still have reservations due to motherboard variances and overall tolerances, but maybe this information could be useful to other people. It is unnerving having read on numerous occasions that people have tried 30mm radiators, but it only fits if they use slim fans...not an appealing option. I intend to try it out when I have spare money not prioritised for everything else.
  4. Morning all, Anyone know if the new "H100i GTX" fits in the Corsair Obsidian 250D? We all know the 250D was designed around the older H100i (25mm rad + 25mm fans), but the newer H100i GTX is marginally larger (30mm rad + 25mm fans). Problem is, there is conflicting info on the web, and I can't find concrete info on what the clearance is between a motherboard and case; I have read sources saying anywhere between 52-55mm. There appears to be minimal yet conflicting information about. Any info appreciated. (Yes, I am planning on doing this, assuming it should fit)
  5. Favourite aspect: Definitely the speakers. (Though an 850M instead of a 880M will be easier on the battery, whilst providing sufficient gaming power)
  6. Linus, you say that you can't dial by typing the name of the person, but they added that feature to Android 4.3. In fairness, you need to enable the feature - it's not on by default. [Source]
  7. - The Cosmos S side panel does not close properly with my Titan Fenrir CPU cooler (this one) installed! (Little bit of encouragement needed) - Had to replace stock fan on cooler for a low-profile alternative because it conflicted with my low-profile RAM (which was advertised as a CPU fan, but does not have PWM...*angry facepalm*) - The massive amounts of fan noise. All this is why I bought water cooling components on the weekend!
  8. Holy Necro-post Batman! FYI, there is a way to disable ABP on particular YouTube channels, as discussed on the ABP forums. Check it out here: https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12189#p82172 or here http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=435906 You can see the 5 line script is safe. Add that to Greasemonkey (or similar), and then add an exception to your ABP filter like so: @@|http://www.youtube.com/watch*user=LinusTechTips Happy to be of service
  9. Perhaps I missed it, but how long can you stream for? 1,810MaH is just an arbitrary figure to me, as I have no idea of it's rate of consumption. I assume the number of hours will reduce when streaming to multiple devices, but keen to know a ballpark figure. Would it be any good on a 10-11 hour flight, for example? Cheers.
