  1. Very helpful review! I've seen these listed on sites before and I've considered getting one, mainly because my laptop HDD is currently in a clicking mood, when its read it tends to click, which I know is bad, just I'm putting it off as I kinda want a new laptop! :)
  2. We can always hope... We're being kept behind by consoles yet again!
  3. I want one now! Both a scale version like yours, and a full size version to hold multiple computers! This WOPR case will be the best for LAN parties! Purely because its the WOPR! I love War Games (watched it christmas eve). Best case build I've seen ever!
  4. I would say anything your trying to run on m-ITX using 32GB of ram is a bit much for the board. m-ITX is made for lower end boxes, not designed to be a workstation.
  5. Some games have incompatibilities with SLI, some just don't show a huge increase in FPS, and on rare occasions I've heard of games not running at all with SLI. Personally I think that 2 GTX 780's would be overkill for most current games, maybe if you wanted it to last for many generations.
  6. Sleep - Better alarm system, with soft wake up! Unified Remote - Wireless keyboard and mouse (& more) for your computer Checking out everyone else's suggestions now!
  7. If I had some spare time and spare thermal paste I would try this on my 3 year old laptop! It has always been rather hot, but thats the price of a 'mid-high' end gpu (3 years ago) in a laptop... Planing to get a new laptop some time soon, :)
  8. RAID 6 Is also a notable level, for large arrays at least.
  9. Terrible quality due to youtube.
  10. Surely using a single 2TB (or larger) drive would be easier?
  11. Shut up' date=' let the users decide![/quote'] Thats rather unlike Apple! lol
  12. What would you be doing with it? Gaming, rendering, etc.?
  13. Depending what video editing programs he was going to use could change this. If he is going to go the Adobe route the gtx680 would probably be better for the CUDA support.
  14. Haven't used it to optimise any games yet, as the ones it supports I already had on the highest settings (e.g. BF3). One nice feature is definitely the driver updating, got a pop-up today saying there was a new driver, and it installed and downloaded it all very nicely, very little input from me. Always helpful to know when the latest drivers are out!
  15. I did find it strange when Linus put on his coat, then Slick took off his jumper...
  16. Personally when using it in RP in a vm I found it unusable, the scrolling on Formerly Metro with a mouse didn't feel right, and when trying to use it as a power user, not having a start menu, somewhat annoyed me. I'm used to hitting the start button on my keyboard, typing something and then hitting enter, and the program appears, adding extra steps into that made it feel clunky. I haven't tried it on a touch screen device yet, maybe it is miles better on a tablet, but I personally will be avoid Windows 8 on any of my computers.
  17. Samsung Galaxy S2 on Android 4.0.4 :)
  18. Only ever call it names if I'm pissed of with it... which are normal names of profanity... also... /s/You're/Your/
  19. Currently a Computer Science student, I've been told I need to get a job, and the only place I would even think of getting a job is at Novatech which is a very nice local computer store... Maybe they'll see this an employ me as a computer builder? :)
  20. ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128M, currently in use as wall art.. Did however remove the ATI sticker to improve its valve (Nvidia user) :) It came from an old computer which was given to me to scrap.
  21. Pea size on 1155, but if I did a 2011 build, I'd put a little bit more on.
  22. http://imgur.com/a/TPrt6 Bought pretty much all of them in sales of some sort... I've been meaning to work out home much money I've saved from steam sales!
