thats what hes saying if you want upgradable buy the x51, if not get a steam machine -
that would be sick, the green version. it would be like an ammo crate !

yeah but changing the name is easy, making a substantially different case is a different game all together

i think the reason linus was saying its unfortunate is because,if you take 2 steam machines with same performance and same price, but one can be upgraded and one cant then more people will go for the upgradeable one i think

this in theory is a small 350d, cant go much further with the 350d design without just making the 250d

by making it upgradable and release knew ones there shooting themselves in the foot cause its alot cheaper to upgrade gpu for example instead of a whole new system, and for the people who cant be bothered upgrading there own, im sure if it resulted in saving "so and so" amount of money they would.

i prefer this over the prodigy, the prodigy matx format seems to fit the shape of the case more than mitx format
