  1. I'm looking at hypothetical computer systems. If we got to the point we had 12000mhz at 192gb max bandwidth how does it interact with different ram volumes? Can it double fill 96gb using both sides of the DDR or is this twice as much as it already accounts for the DDR speed in the bandwidth? Or would this only be useful with a qaud channel board?(I'm guessing I'm thinking this out backwards.) Can it fill an entire bank of 192 ram at a constanst speed? And can any boards do full speed/bandwidth of 192gb with 4x48gb? I was hoping by the time we hit AM5 stuff we would have a 24/48 core/thread amd with the ability to fully use 192gb at 12000mhz ddr5. I was also hoping for a new nvidia with 24 or 48 gb Vram. Prefereaby 48gb Vram. BTW, can a gpu take advantage of a mobo's ram speed like this. Does it give any advantage to any processes going between the various components? And does going 2:1 on an amd infinity fabric do any good or does it limit this whole process? And did this ever come to fruition? https://wccftech.com/adata-unveils-xpg-ddr5-12600-ddr5-8400-overclock-ready-memory-up-to-64-gb-capacity-coming-later-this-year/ I was hoping to get the geil ram with the little rgb fans eventually for a system. 8) http://www.geil.com.tw/news/?id=44
  2. I want a system with 4 48 gb ram sticks(hopefully 10-12kmhz), a 48gb video card. And other stuff number themed. Not sure how smart, but when it become cheap enough... I'm hoping for double the ram of the 4090.
  3. Are the chips being pulled for a certain something?
  4. I wasn't sure how much a single 4090 could run at 240hz. I thought it might need a second one for that many high frequency monitors, but I wasn't sure.
  5. Does this look like any of the staff? (The lead singer in particular.) I guess the point of this thread is to find interesting or funny look a likes for the staff that are on camera or whatnot often. Basically I'm bored. 8)
  6. If you are lazy you could open a window and blow air out of the window with a powerful fan. Then use a compressor to blow it towards the window. While doing this you could also use vacuum to suck up stuff near you. But you would need to make sure it doesn't swarm the room. And wear a mask I would assume. Probably best to do it outside. In fact you could do the same thing outside so the fan blows it away from you... No idea. Just spitballing. Other option is to ask someone else to air compress it if you can't do it yourself. If you have asthma and family members around maybe them or a friend could help.
  7. Is there a way to take the bottom and top or side beveling off them and connect them together to make a seamless 5120x4320, 5120x5760 monitor, etc? That would be a nice default feature for ultra wide curved monitors. Then you could make fairly custom large scale displays. I'm assuming there is no default way but it would be cool. Particularly with the companies own solution to stabilizing the displays together. heck it would be cool if they did like certain fans and connected power/data together with a docking solution. 8) I'm assuming using only monitors with the same curvature at that point.
  8. If you mix the qdoled as a center moniter and use the G9 neo as two side displays to extend the curve would they match well? or could they be made to match well? Or could you simply run 3 oleds? I'm not sure how much dual 4090's could handle. Or how much GPU is needed. Sample system: (overkill example) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Aital/saved/#view=ynXYXL Hopefully that link is visible to others.
  9. Modern PC's are like lego blocks for adults. On the basic level. On the more advanced level it's like lego blocks built by children. (And they are mentally all children.) As they can't do anything correct and get in the way of anything nice you could ever hope to build or have. If you can't figure out the instruction for PC stuff you are correct to blame the person writing the info.. If it's hard to figure out it's the fault of the engineer or person writing the manual despite what a bunch of mentally handicapped children defending their toys tell you.
  10. It was pre instant hook up internet. Back then most people used it for games and didn't use the internet. We still use phone services to potentially get game advice or bought a magazine... Dos is late 80's/early 90's for god sake.
  11. This guys brain is so wilted he doesn't know that restore points are a security issue. He must have been using linux so long he forgot what malware can do. He's an idiot btw. Restore points are the easiest way to get rid of a nigerian prince!! 8D I've been using linux for more than a decade, maybe two decades at this point. I still know that those are a necessity in windows for security. The same is true in linux but you usually use a secondary backup as a restore point. If you do at all. Youtube is a wonderland of trash and idiots. It is and will continue to result in that idiocy being given money and pushing out anyone more intelligent to make that stupidity solid and stable in society. You can figure out the rest. This is why youtube is more and more like a TV as we go. BTW, the difference in the past is that there was some iota of the opposite to learn from in the past. That has been wiped out. And I'm using the term wiped out intentionally as that is what literally occured. BTW, I get horrific dread and am repulsed by anything requiring a download that is not a major companies video game or very well known software. And that is only to run with proton. I can't stand people who think it's safe to download anything... The only old computer I would run would be an old dos machine with windows 3.1 for retro games if I cared. But as that was pre internet I wouldn't have to worry about viruses. Unless I hooked it up to my computer in a network... Nah, just use the monitor. Software isn't convenient enough yet to make me want to do that. At which point I would hope it's convenient enough to make dosbox or an alternative work out of the box. Also, the guy is using so many facial expressions because he has no idea what he's talking about. He's relying on emotion to express something and does not have sufficient knowledge to be giving advice on this level. If it's a youtuber it's the bottom of the barrel of an example of wahtever it is. Engineer, lawyer, idiot on the internet. (BTW, much better exist of all of these examples outside youtube. ;p)
  12. I was looking at the same thing for a white build and settled on the asus thor 2 version for the black/silver and oled screen. Since the build was white/black. Didn't actually buy it. Just settled on it for the build idea. Expensive little thing. the also had a loki one for mini builds but I don't remember if it had the nice oled.
  13. What is the cpu waterblock/aio in your main rig? The one with the blades in the middle and the dome looking glass over the top?P_20221106_195028.jpg.d458f63737ebdb17b7

Hi. Its a aerocool Pulse L240F

It works ok , but I have to warn that the pump is in the radiator , so It must be vertically mounted only , with the pump and tubes down to avoid noises and damaging the pump.

It's maybe possible to install it horizontal with the radiator on the bottom , but some air bubbles could mount to the CPU cooler .

The impeller is driven by the flow of the liquid (no motor inside) , the wires are only for the ARGB (works as a limited ARBG controller ) by pressing the frame of the cpu cooler
