  1. Turns out he has barely any personal files so there should be no problem putting them onto a usb stick and then wiping the hard drive. Thanks for all the help! Will mark as solved in a bit.
  2. All of his personal files are on the hard drive, is there an easy way of removing the windows files??
  3. Is there an easy way of removing the os from the hard drive to free up some space.
  4. Windows 7 64 bit, home premium.
  5. Windows 7, he way toying with the idea of purchasing windows 10
  6. He is running windows windows 7 can you link me to the usb tool, I will look into it, what sort of size usb stick is he going to need. No, the final result needs to be os and programmes on the SSD and games and files on the hard drive, we dont mind reinstall programmes and games if need be.
  7. Hello, My mate is planning on getting an SSD because currently he has all of his files on one 1tb hard drive. He doesn't have a windows disk or a copy of windows on a USB stick. His windows key is also an OEM key not sure what this mean but I dont think you can use them to active windows in the same way. What is the easiest way of transferring windows to the SSD while leaving all of his files and games on his current hard drive. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks David
  8. Hello, my friend needs some advice on a gaming laptop. I can help him a bit but not as much as you guy! Budget: MAXIMUM £1000 Location: United Kingdom Accessories are need. I was wondering if you were able to find a selection of laptops that he is able to pick from, his maximum is £1000 however he is looking to pay less if that is possible. He is planning on playing CSGO and LOL smoothly and will be using the laptop for university work. Thanks Dave
  9. I'm on holiday and I missed all the windows 10 and skylake hype... On the other hand I am on holiday.
  10. I buy Harrogate water accasionally, however London tap water is great.
  11. Definitely, however hard water is better for you because it has essential calcium and magnesium ion.
  12. For me at least the harder the water the nicer it tastes, however in Greece where I am atm, you are shouldn't drink too much of the water because it is really hard and gives you kidney stone. Never really saw the point of softener as I am so use to drinking hard water. Just personal preference.
  13. All water tastes different due to the hardness of it. The tap water in London is very hard and taste nice, not sure why everyone is filtering their water and buying bottle water?
  14. It's sitting in my steam library unplayed, shame on me.
