  1. OK, have you tried a Windows repair install from a USB? I had similar issues with my old ASUS X99 system. I thought it was the bios at first, turned out Win 10 was corrupted. Took me 3 re-installs to get it working properly.
  2. Sounds like a corrupted Bios. Try this to reset it. (From the Prime z370 manual) ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 The ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 utility is an auto recovery tool that allows you to restore the BIOS file when it fails or gets corrupted during the updating process. You can restore a corrupted BIOS file using the motherboard support DVD or a USB flash drive that contains the BIOS file. The BIOS file in the motherboard support DVD may be older than the BIOS file published on the ASUS official website. If you want to use the newer BIOS file, download the file at https://www.asus.com/support/ and save it to a USB flash drive. Recovering the BIOS To recover the BIOS: 1. Turn on the system. 2. Insert the motherboard support DVD to the optical drive, or the USB flash drive containing the BIOS file to the USB port. 3. The utility automatically checks the devices for the BIOS file. When found, the utility reads the BIOS file and enters ASUS EZ Flash 3 automatically. 4. The system requires you to enter BIOS Setup to recover the BIOS setting. To ensure system compatibility and stability, we recommend that you press <F5> to load default BIOS values.
  3. I own the same motherboard and CPU with the latest bios, no problems at all. Are you running at stock or OC'd in the bios?
  4. Touchy aren't we. Someone suggests EVGA PSU's are loud, I say they aren't because I own two, which are quiet and I end up with a mob of kids on my back Next you'll be telling me the sky is green
  5. Budget comes first so post how much you're willing to spend. Total amount that is.
  6. My EVGA PSU's are quiet, end of discussion.
  7. There goes the yearly budget.

Bet they didn't tell you it's nothing but raw potato for school lunch from now on.......

Well lets just say that my school isn't exactly poor so they can quite easily afford to splurge a little on upgrading our equipment :P

  8. My bad (It's late here) Yes I get it now. I didn't know the OP wanted to launch a space mission from his PC Might just have to fry me one of the i9's when the prices drop. Will see what it will OC too on a crappy single rad cooler before it catches fire!
  9. I have all the gear my friend. From pro installation testing equipment to that little plug in display which tells me how many watts and amps are being chewed through a plug Now If the reviewer had used the hardware for a prolonged period and given the thumbs up I'd assume it was worthy. A single benchmark tells me nothing. There really is no substitute for prolonged ownership.
  10. Eh? Like I said the OP never mentioned de-lidding. Had he done so then I'm sure EVERYONE would have suggested a custom water loop. Including me.
  11. OP never mentioned de-lidding the CPU. If so it's a custom water loop job.
  12. I've already said they are quite under heavy load too. Really, so this novice who used to hook up DC and AC electrical systems on rolling stock and data centres knows nothing about a little box throwing power to my motherboard. You should never assume the person on the other end of the line was born yesterday
  13. The H100iv2 should handle the cooling no problem. The H150i PRO has 3 fans. Might be overkill but if you have the room and the $ then it might suit your needs.
  14. Haha now why would I want to do that. You stated EVGA PSU's are noisy and I debunked your argument because I own two of them. And yes I've had a few of the older Corsair PSU's in the past. Some good, some not so good with noise, but non had ever broken on me. I tend to see what other owners have to say and make a decision on what's best for my needs. Been running EVGA PSU's now for the past 5 years without a glitch. Hell will freeze over before I take advice on what hardware to buy from a sales article
  15. It's relevant because I'm sitting between a 1000 Watt G2 & a 750 Watt G2 which are both on and I can't hear them. Even under load they are quite. There is nothing like a review from an actual hardware owner
