  1. I recently acquired some iMac G3s, two launch edition Bondi Blues and a white DV SE. I'll send pics soon. Other vintage computers I own (pics are not mine): Dell Dimension XPS D333 (Pentium II 333Mhz, 128MB RAM, Matrox video card, Sound Blaster Live!, and a 40GB IBM Deathstar running Windows 98SE) Tandy 3100 Model 10 (Intel 486, 64MB RAM, some sound card, Windows 3.1)
  2. Thanks! I'll try it as soon as I go dig up my card. I doubt it would work that way.
  3. Yeah my friends and I have been unable to find them, that's why I came here.
  4. Is there a way to get my old Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1250 working on Windows 10? I want to use it to capture composite video off my Gamecube.
  5. I'd go for a ryzen 5 1400 or 1600, the 1500x is kinda pointless. also I'd say bump your gpu up to a 1050ti or a 1060-3gb if your budget allows for it.
  6. The differences between all the current Windows 10 versions. (Anniversary Edition, Creators Update, etc)
  7. that mobo would only support up to a pentium d
  8. yeah ryzen 7 2700x is probably your best choice rn
  9. Extended warranty, how can I lose?

  10. Will probably continue sticking with Hangouts and WhatsApp supplementing SMS. No thanks Google, I don't need another app.
  11. Yeah what I'd like to see is hitting the point where it does cause a noticeable difference.
  12. It'd make an interesting experiment. Take an older ATX computer with say, 8 pcie lanes, and load up all the slots with cards, such as network cards, wifi cards, usb cards, sound cards, etc, and see how in compares to the same computer with only a GPU. I'd love to see the results.
  13. Armagetron Dwarf Fortress Team Fortress 2 League of Legends Quake III Arena Demo AM2R
  14. Would only work for old Intel/MOS/Motorola/Zilog chips
  15. Again, it would theoretically work. Dunno how well it'd work though on 1100+ pin CPUs. Maximum that makes sense is 50-75.
  16. I mean, theoretically you could look up a pinout chart for the processor, but its a long and arduous process. Only recommend it really for pre-1987 CPUs
  17. do you have a graphics card?
