is the strix good?
Very nice card! I have a 1070 Strix and it looks fantastic, isn't particularly loud and the OC mode gets it to around 2030Mhz+ for me without breaking a sweat while keeping things nice and cool.

The Burnout series might be dead as we know it, but the founders of the series are now working in their own indie studio, Three Fields Entertainment and they are working on a racing game (likely a spiritual successor to Burnout).

Well it is an early access game and it is still pretty far from being well optimised. I play the game on very low apart from draw distance being on Ultra. I have a GTX 1070 and I still get mid 40s everywhere and it goes down to 20s in big towns. That is at 1440p. Just have to deal with it for now until it gets refined. Should have expected it when buying an early access game.

Depends on how far you sit from the screen and what you will use it for. I have a 25" 1440p screen (AOC Q2577PWQ) and sometimes some text can be a little small but not unreadable. This is mainly since the pixels per inch is higher then lets say with a 27" screen so everything is very sharp and clean looking. So at 24" you might need a small windows scale increase to like 125% but if you sit within arms length from the screen you should be ok.

First time I saw it it looked really cool... but it different colours??? Now this is an awesome card! Especially if they have a lot of colour options.

So how exactly is Nvidia Now better than something than LiquidSky which seems to provide the same service for less and with more hours. e.g. Gamer plan gives you 80h for $10 (monthly plan) and 500gb for you games. Good luck to this Nvidia service. I don't think it will go far with that pricing.

@FourCorners Level1Techs have their reviews up as well with a lot of z270 motherboard reviews so might be worth adding those to the OP.

Ebay has a few kits at an affordable price but I can't find any with yellow or blue cables.
Unless you have a very specific reason to make your own I would just recommend getting premade ones like these. They are also flat so should be very easy to manage and hide.

...and no full size USBs only C on a flagship laptop. I'm sure a lot of people will be pissed.

You can't use headphones on the SMSL Q5 Pro since that is a Amp/Dac for speakers not headphones.

I own it, I love it, I recommend it for sure! Very high quality case as you would expect for the price. Really nice to build in. Has easily accessible fan filters where they are needed. Mine is the Galaxy Silver but I have a friend that owns the Satin Black and both look stunning.
Here is what my build looks like:Spoiler -
I just downloading the Anniversary update for the 3rd time so I can get the game and play it. Really wanted to play a good racing game and since NFS has gone to shit (imo) and Burnout hasn't been a thing in a while I put all of my faith into this game. Since I'm not getting BF1 anymore (at least for now; £104 is a fucking joke for the game + Premium) then I'm throwing my money into Forza and hopefully rightfully so

Although above your budget by £3, Overclockers UK has the Mionix Zibal mechanical keyboard. Although relatively basic in design, it's a full size green backlit Cherry MX Black keyboard. It only comes in that configuration so it's a matter of taste at that point, but in my opinion for the price you get quite a bit of a keyboard there.

Or you know... add Non-steam games to Steam and get the Steam overlay for games like Battlefield? Considering that most peoples games are on Steam with a few exceptions it seems like a reasonable solution.

I had a similar issue with my 560ti and I solved by doing this but it might not work for you:
Go to Nvidia control panel:
3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings -> Global Settings -> Power management mode -> Prefer maximum performance
So in theory it shouldn't underclock itself anymore as a power saving feature and keep the clocks up.

How about the new Corsair Crystal Series 460X RGB or the standard 460x. That should be enough tempered glass in one case to satisfy your needs. Unsure about the price since it's only been announced.

I wanted to avoid installing custom ROMs for as long as possible but it seems that I will have use one once someone ports it since I have a HTC One M8 FeelsBadMan

Its beyond me why hardware manufacturers like to gamify their software UI.
What I struggle to understand is how they managed to go from this UI look in the last version:
To the one I posted above...

Is it buggy, or do you just not like the look?
I tried to set my fan curve (that is all I use it for) since it slammed it to 100% and that seemed to work after giving me a few errors at first; I'm guessing it wasn't compatible with the way it was set in the previous version and after setting it again it seemed fine. If you don't need the features it adds then i would stick to the older V5.2.1 since it has a lot cleaner and easier to use UI.

I don't like it either. Looks pretty bad now IMO.
I rolled back right after seeing it. The fan curves got all messed up as well when going back to the old version.

My friend has a Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 and it's a really nice phone for £100. If you are not on Vodafone you can unlock it with an unlock code as far as I'm aware.
