  1. I have one, and is it is a great deal. Image quality is amazing and 1440p running at 96Hz is very nice. No dead pixels and moderate backlight bleed. Frame and stand are not up to par but that's part of the whole deal why it is so cheap. I am considering selling it to my brother and picking up a crossover 290m instead, you should check those out as well.
  2. Wont decrease cooling performance at all don't worry about it
  3. Favorite at around $1M: probably a huayra or something Favorite at around $500k: 458 italia or a maybach 62 Favorite under $100k: GTR, NSX Favorite under $50k: STI's are pretty cool Favorite under $30k: Genesis coupe
  4. I guess the abolition of America seems inevitable eventually. But I still see America as #1
  5. Did this just start randomly? You don't by any small chance have your drivers patched so you can overclock your monitor do you? because I had very similar things happen on my 280x when I did that.
  6. That is the British English way to spell it. In Canada, most words that end in -or are spelled -our. For example, colour, harbour, humour, flavour, neighbour, armour. On to the actual post, white lights are generally the safest way to go as they can't mess up a colour scheme. Unless you have an awesome colour scheme working already, I always recommend using white lights.

  8. I have a 280x 3gb which is pretty close to a 770 with a 1440p monitor and all games run nicely. BF4 for example I can get around 96 fps consistently and on high settings It stays around 60fps
  9. Typcially, I would use plasti dip for things that can't be spray painted. But as your shrouds can be removed and painted carefully, you should use spray paint. Spray paint can also look much nicer than plasti dip
  10. that would be more than good. Im running 1440p on a single 280x and I can run BF4 on high at over 60fps
  11. I know you already selected this as answered. But based on the information from the owners club. Get which ever one is cheaper, which usually happens to be the X-Star. They use the same panel and have the same quality and overclocking luck.
  12. yes it does. However there is no audio quality increase going from 720p to 1080p. Maybe the converter website doesn't have good quality. take a look here http://www.h3xed.com/web-and-internet/youtube-audio-quality-bitrate-240p-360p-480p-720p-1080p
  13. Looks nice. You should practice plasti dipping more things and try to get less texture and get a smooth finish because it looks a bit textured on your picture. Consider how far away you are spraying from and putting on the right thickness per coat. Also it helps a lot to put the cans in hot water, as they get warmer, they spray better and more evenly. Keep plasti dipping!
  14. Do you mean just the top of the heatsinks? if so, then that would be perfectly fine
  15. I did the wheels and emblems of my car black a few weeks ago I also did my RAM heat spreaders about 6 months ago. You can see them here - http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/116687-watercooled-c70/
