  1. Thank you for the PSU list! I didn't think i'd be underestimating the needs of an SLI 1080 Ti by that much x-x And i've replaced the SSD with the ADATA SU800 512GB! Thanks again for your help!
  2. I've been told that by a few people but saying its my "first build" isnt really doing much justice, i have tinkered and fiddled with a few of my older shelf bought pcs and am fairly confident! And i'll have a friend over helping with the build! ^^ What psu would you suggest if i were to be adding another 1080 ti some time in the future?
  3. I've taken a look at the Coffee cpus, and if i need to i'll try and work in the 8700k, it would be a huge upgrade i know that much, but i have never over clocked a cpu, nor even built a pc before and was thinking that a pre oc cpu would be better to have? The RAM will be used for hosting servers and such, and you can never have too much RAM! This build is meant to be a little over the top! I'll take a look into the aircoolers! However i do like being able to see most of the motherboard as it is a strix I'll take another look at some psu's, but i am planning to maybe add in another 1080 Ti at some point so i may need the 650 or maybe even a 700! If there would be any you could recommend it would help a lot! The SSD can definitely be changed, i'll take a look around for some more but suggestions will always be appreciated!

If you just want to use them for a pc, the void RGB pro USB is the way to go, but if you ever want to use it out and about with a phone or on a playstation or stuff like that you'll want the void surround
  5. Hi there! I'm just about to order in all of my parts for a new gaming setup and am looking for a few honest opinions on the list as it is my very first pc build and with the prices that it's rising to i really don't want to make any mistakes! Being my first pc build i had originally set myself a budget of a mere 900 euros, however i quickly became quite fond of the idea of 4k gaming and 2k 144hz gaming and the like. If there are any issues or worries that may arise from any of the parts listed below please do give me a helping hand and reply! As for a budget i really don't have one... x3x But i will always welcome cheaper options! List: ASUS ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-O11G ~ 900 Euros Pre OC i7-7700k 5.0 Ghz ~ Bundle Corsair Vengance DDR4-3200Mhz, 32 GB in four 8 GB cards ~ Bundle Asus ROG STRIX Z270H motherboard ~ Bundle Cooling FrostFlow 240mm Liquid Cooler ~ All four bundled together for 950 Euros NZXT CA-S340W-B3 High Performance Gaming Case ~ 100 Euros Corsair CP-9020098-UK VS Series ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Power Supply Unit, 650 W ~ 70 Euros SanDisk SSD PLUS 240 GB Sata III 2.5-inch Internal SSD, Up to 530 MB/s ~ 80 Euros Seagate 2TB BarraCuda 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive (64MB Cache, SATA 6GB/s, up to 210MB/s) ~ 80 Euros Acer XG270HU omidpx 27-Inch 16:9 WQHD Gaming Monitor with AMD FreeSync 2k 144hz ~ 500 Euros ((Will be adding a 4k and then a 250+hz 1080p in the future as well as upgrading the ssd!)) Thanks for reading and for any help / insight you can give a newcomer!! There wont be any changing the gpu as i have bought it already x3x
  6. Well, with a budget as low as that, and especially looking for a laptop, would you be wanting one new, refurbished or second hand? New: There isnt much hope of finding anything too brilliant i'm afraid, the most you'll be able to get is an intel pentium, maybe with 4 GBs of ram. I'm not sure on the specs you'd require with basic video editing, but i know from using Movie Maker ONCE before on my old pentium laptop that it does take a while. The one you found does seem to be very well priced! And i'd call it a great find! Used: This is something you'd have to look up in your local second hand websites/shops as i wouldnt even know where to begin looking about x-x Sorry! But if you want to buy one from amazon i found this amazing refurbished one! https://www.amazon.co.uk/ProBook-Refurbished-i5-4300U-1-90GHz-Warranty/dp/B06ZYK12J3
  7. I'd recommend the Corsair Void Pro in a heartbeat, great mic and amazing speakers for something that's just 70 USD on sale on amazon right now, it's the best headset I've ever owned! And to me anyway is styled a little bit kinder on the eyes than the headset you're looking at, and i mean like... Who can say no to cheap, amazing rgb headphones, with 50mm neodymium drivers no less! https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-VOID-Wireless-Gaming-Headset/dp/B0748MTZ1C/ Small edit: Just a thing to note is that you have to decide on wether or not you'll want to use the Corsair headphones on your phone or not, as it has been shown that the AUX port version for your phone and such doesnt have the same capabilities of the purely usb version in sound quality through both the speakers and mic, however you don't notice it unless you're really picky with headphones. I'm sure this would be the same across the board with all headphones but i've only ever had the two versions of the Corsair Void, so i cant compare the different versions of others.
  8. I haven't seen anything else that may be better than an RX 580 for just $200, gets a thumbs up from me~

I'd recommend the Corsair Void in a heartbeat, great mic and amazing speakers for something that's just 90 GBP But if you were looking for something way cheaper i'd point you to the Logitech G430 at around 50 - 60 GBP Both have 7.1 surround however the Void does the slightest bit better job at noise cancelling, and is that little bit more flashy with the rgb. But the Logitech is currently on sale on amazon.co.uk for 40 GBP and i dont know how much longer it will last https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Gaming-Headset-Dolby-Surround/dp/B00CJ5FPUE/ Small edit: Just a thing to note is that you have to decide on wether or not you'll want to use the Corsair headphones on your phone or not, as it has been shown that the AUX port version for your phone and such doesnt have the same capabilities of the purely usb version in sound quality through both the speakers and mic, however you don't notice it unless you're really picky with headphones.
