  1. That listing doesn't even show a pic of an S1. You can also get them for $227 from Bitman, why would you use a shady amazon listing? That said, there is a reason they are getting very cheap.....
  2. So you actually just want to delete all record of your face?
  3. Only one thing I loathe, you can guess what that is. And this is how I imagine you right now
  4. The race is happening right now!! http://racefansonlytv.com/
  5. I wish I had a nice camera sometimes, then I remember that I never go outside anyway.....
  6. I do!! I love BF4 and have hundreds of hours played. I also play at 4K 60+FPS
  7. This explains the current state of Crypto nicely.
  8. ASICs are worse, they aren't even good for anything else. And yet it is still possible to make money with them. That said, just buy Btc instead.
  9. LOL...it's not actually quite $6000, but yeah, amateur hour is over.
  10. You should use a calculator to try and see what you will actually make, like this one https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator this one can have the difficultly increase accounted for. You have to remember that you are going to be making less and less Btc/day as time goes on. You don't want to look at how many Btc you will make per day, just look for the best value, and what you can actually power. There are many Asics out there, but Bitman has to be my favorite, they actually have and sell IN STOCK products. Getting some preorder isn't going to make you anything, free power or not. https://bitmaintech.com/product.htm The S2 is much more efficient and compact, but the S1 is much better in GH/dollar. Cointerra apparently has stock atm, and is marked down a bit. http://cointerra.com/product/terraminer-iv-1-6-ths-bitcoin-miner/ From my experience it's almost always better to buy from the manufacture, Amazon/Ebay prices are terrible for these things from what I've seen. It should be noted, difficultly will be higher in 13 weeks and you will be making much less then at the start.
  11. All that anyone has said for months is that you can't make any money on ASICs, and it's all bullshit. I bought some antminers a little while back and they are just about paid off while still making .05Btc per day.
  12. You are going to need about 2200GH to mine 1 Btc a week. The prices for 2000GH ASICS is around the $6000 range, but I'm sure some are marked down atm. Since power isn't an issue you could get a bunch of Antminer S1s for a bit less. Overclocked to 200GH each you could grab 11 of these bad boys for 6.05 Btc, or about $2700. Throw in another $500 for PSUs and you are all set. Good Luck!!! Don't do any of this.
  13. AMD needs to work on their power consumption, how did they add 100W from the 7970 to the 280x. 270x isn't worse then a 270 in KH
  14. Trust me, this has been done many times by many people. If you want to waste some time make one for Scrypt-n, X11, Groestl, and Keccak. Not that any spreadsheet will EVER be accurate.
  15. EBAY EBAY EBAY!!! 7970/280x is my personal favorite. For $250 you can get one no problem, I'm getting awfully tempted to pick up a few more myself. If you want help with setting up Darkcoin just let me know. There is no GUIminer, but it's really not that complicated.
  16. Well since this thread got brought up again, I don't think I ever posted pics of everything before. 5x290(one missing atm) and 5x280x rigs Almost all of the other cards, lots of 270s plus some older cards. All of these are running on 240V.
  17. 1. not what you should be worried about 2. X11, sha-3, and a few other newer algo coins, they don't require nearly as specific settings to run properly 3. irrelevant, you will be using a pool and not mining Litecoin(i hope). 4. there is no one coin, I own many for a reason Forget Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Doge you are late for them without serious hardware. I would recommend Darkcoin, it uses X11 and only takes about half the power of scrypt to mine.
  18. This should tell you what you need to get started. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/105547-how-to-mine-scrypt-based-currencies-and-cash-out-guide/
  19. Well at the going rate of 1doge=1doge it's worth about 16Million doge. And unfortunately I am not still holding all of them, only a few million. Yes, at this point ASICs are much better for scrypt mining, but these were all found with graphics cards.
  20. It's beautiful. 10/10 Would tailgate. Now is a great time time to look back and laugh at all the stupid comments on the first doge thread. My favorite has to be when someone said he was gonna mine some just so he could delete the wallet. Gotta say I'm proud to have mined over 16 Million.
  21. Never suggested anything of the sort. And no, I wouldn't touch a gridseed right now.
  22. I have paid for ever bit of power I have used from the day I turned 18.
