  1. Slap a coat of paint it and everyone will ask where you bought it lol.It looks good to me and fits the needs prefect.
  2. If you got the money to custom loop it and cool the cpu then go that way.If you just wanna cool the gpu only look in to the gpu aio kits like have been said.
  3. I wouldn't buy used pc parts unless they can prove to me it works before i buy it.And the price used would have to be 60% or less of it new.
  4. Have you gotten the waterblock yet ?
  5. If you can go with out a cpu for a little while you can ship yours off to https://siliconlottery.com/collections/sl Or you can buy one done off them and sell yours.
  6. The whole mineral oil pc thing started 15 to 20 years ago and never took off really. The price of the oil and the case has to be almost bullet proof to with stand the weight and not crack. You can never use the parts in anything else they get a oily film you'll never get off.The chillers had their day also,But now with use delided intels and water cooling cooling like it does no they are really not needed for high over clocks.Let alone the power the old school chillers used back then.Back in those days water cooling was a car heater core rigged up with a fish tank pump lol.To day we have monster size rads and water pumps that can flow amazing numbers or run 2 inline.
  7. Looks like a deepcool aio also. Those can be hit and miss if they work or don't leak.
  8. Yeah like said it would really be 2 separate tanks to really work.
  9. New electronics always have that odd smell for a few days to week.
  10. Have you looked at the corsair crystal series 280x the board will fit it
  11. You are right about that,I was looking at prebuilt custom pcs. Both used a mid ground b350 board in it and wanted almost 4k for it at the end.I could build a 1950x build for that and have change left.
  12. I doubt it and that motherboard is kinda old don't you think ?
  13. As cheap as a am3+ board is i would buy a cheap case and cheap motherboard and maybe a power supply.Use your ram and hard drives and stuff like that.
  14. A lot of it is options.Like sata ports some boards have more then others.Usb jacks in the rear some have more then others.Usb type c if that matters some have it some don't.It all comes down to what do you really need?Do you want to overclock ?How many drives do you need to use? What size do you want etx atx matx or itx ?
  15. Honestly i would go either 8700k or 2700x since you want more a gaming rig/desktop.And spend the money difference on something you can use like upgrade the video card or a better monitor.
  16. Since thats a strix card he can get a waterblock from ek or phanteks for it
  17. Like said tell it comes out and gets tested we have no real idea.Just because a case is marketed with air flow never makes it true.
  18. Years ago like said they use to be used for all your drives like ide roms and ide hard drives and fans.Since sata came out all the drives switched and not much uses it today.
  19. No i said it wouldn't load with 3 cards installed and the video showed that.
  20. With old cards and drivers that supported 4 way sli yes,Today with the drivers past 2 way don't work on a lot of games.Or,it reads the cards idle.
  21. How much is a fractal define r6 case ?Its 150 us for a window and a little less with no window. It does have the ODD bay you want but its got a door so you won't see it.That case does have a lot of drive spaces also.
  22. A 2700x ryzen will do both pretty great,Or on its own its with in 10fps of the 8700k in 1440p gaming.Or like said full atx pc and a itx build would be best in one case with out getting some monster high dollar case.A threadripper for streaming is very overkill it would stream, and run like 4 games at once and laugh at the loud.
