I recently bought this brandnew Biostar RX 5700XT brand new out of curiosity. Upon opening GPU Z it shows as ASUS Rx 5700XT, can this be one of the Frankenstein cards?

Hey guys, Im planning on buying the 30inch xiaomi UW curved monitor, I just want to ask to the ppl who have experience playing on UW curved VA monitors 1. How are FPS games? I mainly only play Valorant, will the smearing bother me that much? 2. Do I need to stay away from UW and stick to regular IPS 3. I saw some ways to reduce black smearing, anybody tried it out? (increasing gamma)

I saw this used working GTX 1060 online for sale, relatively lower priced than other used GTX 1060s, the catch is, the pictures provided shows that it is dusty and contains rusts on its screws. the guy has legit a profile and i have talked to him, he is nice and willing to give personal warranty for 3 days to test the card out. would you personally buy it and clean it?

Hello guys, since my Rx 570 died, i bought my friend's gtx 560 as a place holder. It has been doing good for the e-sports games that I play like dota 2 and valorant with some occasional framedrops. I am planning right now to upgrade to something like a 1650/1650 super since the games I play is not graphically demanding but I want at least 150+fps Is it a bad time to upgrade? Definitely dont wanna go used again since my rx 570 was bought used and it died in 9 months of regular usage and i wasnt even stressing it that much tbh all opinions are appreciated!

any cpu will work as longg as it is in the sandy bridge architecture. your choice are v1 xeons (like the one I used) if you want cheap cpu for an i7 performace

considering that you have overclocked it for a year now, higher chances that its just a coincidence. as we all know overclocking cuts the tail end of the product's life. if I were you, ima leave it on stock since its just a mild OC

I am running a xeon e3-1270 on an oem samsung b75s1 motherboard. your xeon is a v2 meaning it is on ivy bridge architecture. you need a compatible 3rd gen motherboard for it to work your chipset might be an H61 which only supports 2nd gen xeons do remember that these xeons dont have iGPU what board are you using?

But I want to make most of my money. shoud I wait for 6600 xt/3050ti and buy some cheap ass used card for now or should I go for 1650 super?

Going back to this, yes I had money for troubleshooting. I took it to the shop, bought another cpu,gpu. Just had bad luck. You just have to understand that not all people have deep pockets.

Just to let everyone know, the reason behind my used parts choices is because of the budget builds the youtubers put out. And yes, I have done a lot of researxh about used parts and know the risks of it. But yea, this is my 3rd pc build. The past 2 builts I have done from used parts were a success. Even earning some money flipping it around. I have also researched a LOT, like all the threads relating to my problem. As for the eletrical fault in my house, testing it in my grandma's place gives the same result. As for the psu, when I got the pc working from restting the cmos 1 time, I did stress the pc enough to consume lots of watts and try making the psu crash but it did not. I know it is not a baseline to know if a psu is defevtive or not but hey, it kinda makes sense. Yes, I know my problem. Some would say why not keep some parts from the past builds. Well, I needed some money for better parts so I ended up selling almost all of it. You know, young mind, young thoughts, inexperienced decisions. Maybe some time in the future I will have enough money for them extras ya know!
