  1. Please enlarge the preview window on the forums, at least for the floatplane section. The width is fine, just the height needs to be larger. It's one of those little things that shouldn't matter but do, a lot. PS. if anyone knows of or has created a greasemonkey / tampermonkey script to do this on my end that would be good too. Thank you
  2. Another good video to watch ... (Also by JayzTwoCents) that is specific to Pascal GPUs (including your 1060)
  3. It's not really as simple as X card = X value, personally I have a GTX 1060 overclocked to 2150 MHz. Overclocking nets if more fps for free but it does cost time.
  4. Try re-downloading the nvidia drivers .. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx Then try installing them by right clicking the installer and selecting "Run as Administrator" If that doesn't work then try installing them in Safe Mode.
  5. Most times forms try to avoid changing usernames because it is what people know you by. It's a community like a small town and to maintain that they usually don't allow users to randomly change their names. But like Enderman said, you might get lucky.
  6. As far as I know they are all speed no torque.
  7. There's got to be interference; a mess of wires even at the back of your pc could do it or a metal desk. Also try changing the orientation of the antennas on your card. Also check to make sure your drivers are up to date. http://www.tp-link.com/us/download/Archer-T6E.html#Driver I believe this is your wifi adapter.
  8. Set Origin to not start at startup, do the same with other items that are starting up that you don't always use. I created a batch file that delays items from starting right at startup. It looks like this ... @ECHO OFF ECHO. Starting Delayed Programs ECHO. DON'T CLOSE THIS WINDOW ::------------------------------------------------------ TIMEOUT /T 60 >NUL :: Initial Delay ::------------------------------------------------------ TIMEOUT /T 10 >NUL START "" "C:\Users\uBinKIAd\AppData\Local\Morbix\Clipb watcher\clipb.exe" && ECHO CLIPB STARTED ::------------------------------------------------------ TIMEOUT /T 10 >NUL START "" "C:\Users\uBinKIAd\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin\Dropbox.exe" /systemstartup && ECHO DROPBOX STARTED ::------------------------------------------------------ TIMEOUT /T 10 >NUL START "" "C:\Users\uBinKIAd\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe" /background && ECHO MS ONEDRIVE STARTED ::------------------------------------------------------ TIMEOUT /T 10 >NUL START "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Drive\googledrivesync.exe" /autostart && ECHO GOOGLE DRIVE STARTED START "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\RocketDock\RocketDock.exe" && ECHO ROCKETDOCK STARTED ::------------------------------------------------------ TIMEOUT /T 20 >NUL START "" "G:\Steam\steam.exe" -silent && ECHO STEAM STARTED START "" "G:\GalaxyClient\GalaxyClient.exe" /launchViaAutoStart && ECHO GOG GALAXY CLIENT STARTED ECHO DONE! TIMEOUT /T 4 >NUL It's intent is to allow everything to load but make the computer more usable during initial startup. I use if for stuff that I do want started and running every time I use my pc but don't necessarily need them started all at once when my pc starts up. This way I can launch Chrome and start browsing as soon as I see my desktop where as before I'd have to wait a minute or so before I could do anything. (there's a dozen or so apps I removed from my sample code and there's not always a timeout between each launch. It's something to consider trying. I have an ssd now and still use it because it makes it that much faster to boot.
  9. CPU : Ryzen 5 1600X ($300) Mobo : MSI Gaming AMD Ryzen X370 ($160) Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 ($35) Graphics Card : EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC ($540) RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB ($260) SSD : Samsung 850 EVO 250GB ($130) Power Supply : EVGA 550 N1 ($55) Case : (not included, pick a mid tower case or reuse your current case) Total $1480 + case These prices are all from amazon.ca as of 5pm EST Nov 18, 2017 They do put you a bit over budget but only by the cost of the case, and any additional HDDs you may want.
  10. First of all you really should block out your IP address. Now for the issue at hand. ... Where is your pc located in relation to your router / access point EDIT: (to prevent post spamming) You might be better off with something like this ... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01IEU7UZ0?aaxitk=cLlde674s1noFLMdsIVOFw&pd_rd_i=B01IEU7UZ0&hsa_cr_id=8616303870501 as you can locate it anywhere and possibly get a better signal.
  11. Then they really need to adjust the advertisement for it as it shows $29.99 as an annual option. As seen by following the link in my signature.
  12. How do you sub for a year, currently subbed with the monthly option (as it was the only one available) but I would like to do the annual option as it's cheaper. After 10 months do you get 2 free or something or is the option hidden somewhere I didn't see. Thank you Attached is a screenshot of all available subscription options that I see offered
