  1. Polaris 11 sounds like a mighty fine upgrade to a 700 series card, would not mind getting one at all.
  2. I would love mechanical keyboard, my old membrane one is showing its age. My mouse is looking pretty haggard too, a new one of those would be mint.
  3. I'm already looking for a new SSD for my PC for some extra storage, Something like this would be fantastic!
  4. Thanks for the replies, I will try some of these things when I get time tonight. I will also update after I try.
  5. I have two monitors, one using HDMI and the other using DVI. I cannot get the computer to display anything on the DVI monitor which will stay in standby mode after displaying the windows logo upon start up. I have an R9 380 with the 16.1 crimson edition drivers and have just upgraded to windows 10. This monitor set up worked fine on windows 7 with an old Radeon 6850. What can I do to fix this issue? This is what the windows display settings says when I try to use the other monitor: I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. I have a Powercolor R9 380 4GB. I have the latest 16.1 crimson edition drivers. I have checked for updates in Windows update, there are no new updates. Trying DVI monitor by itself using the DVI-I port the monitor will display the motherboards "asus" splashscreen and then will go into standby mode with a message claiming "No signal - Digital". The DVI monitor plugged into a DVI-D port would display until the windows logo and loading circle appears on bootup and then it goes into standby with the same message. Plugging into the mobo DVI port results into the same situation as the DVI-I port on the GPU. The same things happen if I have the HDMI display plugged in. UPDATE: FIXED! The main 1080p monitor needed a HDMI cable and the older 4:3 monitor needed a VGA cable with a DVI adaptor to connect it to the Video card. Thanks.
  6. I have the latest 5.12 crimson edition drivers. I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. I have a Powercolor R9 380 4GB. I will try and get the DVI display working without having the HDMI display connected. So from what I understand from these comments is that the HDMI and DVI ports on my GPU may share a video signal and that I might be able to check this through Catalyst control center. I will do some tinkering and report back with my findings, thanks for the help guys. Update: So trying DVI monitor by itself using the DVI-I port the monitor will display the motherboards "asus" splashscreen and then will go into standby mode with a message claiming "No signal - Digital". The DVI monitor plugged into a DVI-D port would display until the windows logo and loading circle appears on bootup and then it goes into standby with the same message. Plugging into the mobo DVI port results into the same situation as the DDVI-I port on the GPU. The same things happen if I have the HDMI display plugged in.
  7. I have two monitors, one using HDMI and the other using DVI. I cannot get the computer to display anything on the DVI monitor which will stay in standby mode after displaying the windows logo upon start up. I have an R9 380 with the 15.12 drivers and have just upgraded to windows 10. This monitor set up worked fine on windows 7 with an old radeon 6850. What can I do to fix this issue? This is what the windows display settings says when I try to use the other monitor: Thanks.
  8. That selective focus feature on the camera would have to be my favourite. Being able to change focus of an image after taking the photo, that's crazy and should be impossible. I like it.
  9. My steelseries mouse' software won't work on my pc, I'de love a new mouse to use.

    New monitor

My friend just got an Asus PB278Q which is 1440p, IPS and 27 inch. It seems really good and has a nice stand too. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=558_1087&products_id=21516 This site is Aussie but shipping is still a factor, but some stores where I live (Perth) had it in stock or available for order with no extra cost.
  12. I would make a fancy new PC that could master any game i could throw at it!
  13. If anyone stumbles across this thread I found this article from arstechnica: http://arstechnica.com/apple/2014/11/ios-8-1-1-iphone-4s-and-ipad-2-a-little-faster-kind-of-sometimes/ It goes through differences in performance for IOS 8 vs IOS 7 for older devices. A general trend of decreasing speed is shown so for me IOS 7 is the better option for my old Ipad.
