I have the hp omen 2:nd generation with a 7700hq and a gtx 1060 maxq and it gets to around 95C before throttling, that was when running prime95.

So it wont greatly impact performance when editing or playing games when using mismatched sticks?

Isn’t the higher capacity better for editing? Or does ram speed and timings make that much of a difference compared to capacity?

I currently have the hyperx fury black 2x4gb 2133mhz in my system (3000mhz oc) should i upgrade with 8 or 16 or should i replace those with 2x8gb 3000+mhz? i currently have ryzen so ram speeds matter quite a bit for me. I am editing videos and playing games at 4k primarily. Help would be appreciated! :)

Are you sure that there isn’t some gunk in the socket? That could cause memory problems and as bananasplit said maybe thats how the board works from factory.

I want some recommendations for a good but cheap ssd (preferably under 50$). I don’t need a really speedy ssd just one that’ll survive a long time with decent speeds. M.2 would be nice too! (sata or nvme)

What powersupply should i use for a vega 64? is a 650w enough? Help would be greatly appreciated! (I have a Sapphire nitro+ vega 64)
