Dear god, do desk builds ever get boring? /Nope. Not once, always the best.

Hey guys im new to this foum and i haven't posted this on any other forum so this is the first time its getting seen,
project was started about 12 months ago and am maybe 2 months from completion,
project was to completely fabricate from scratch a desk with the pc under the glass,
i have personaly CAD drawn all laser cut parts and cnc milled the plexi myself
 
will have complete water cooling system with 2 x gtx560 quad rads cooling the cpu 2 x gpu's the motherboard the ram and 3 hard drives( for looks)
all ek plexi blocks, had one graphics card turn up DOA so awaiting a replacement to run the system and stress test it before removing stock coolers to fit water blocks
 
anyways ill post some pics and if anyone is interested i can provide more details
 
will get better resolution pics once its all powder coated and together

final results will be powde coated satin black inside and out and run triple 27 inch monitors but im slowly getting there

so i got the front panel painted to mach the rest of the color scheme so it doesn't look so plain. Now i wanna put a side panel window in so you can see the system when i put in some lighting. I chose to do it with plexiglass because i don't have much experience working with regular glass. 

I couldn't find a reasonable size of plexiglass so i bought a bigger thin sheet and cut out what i needed, i guess ill use the rest in the future sometime. 

This is how big the window im putting in is.

you can see where ive marked out the mounting holes on the panel. I know that youre not going to be able to see much of the components on the inside due to the position of the window, but unfortunately i couldn't put the window any further back because of the fan mounts. i didn't want to fabricate completely new fan vents.

here's a little closer of how i marked the side panel.

just a view if the inside of viking as i work on the side panel. i hate how tall the heat spreaders are on the corsair dimms. ill probably replace them pretty soon with the same vengeance dimm except with the lower profile heat spreaders.
