  1. I do not see any material advertising this as a compute coprocessor. All i see is machine learning and execution. neither of these care about precision, but rather speed of exectution. Neural nets are known for this. Just that its not a compute card. Its meant for machine learning. meaning FP64 is useless eh, too tired to care. ill probably call him names next time around and get a warning point
  2. machine learning. you dont need precision, you need speed. FP16 is twice as fast as even FP32 on maxwell and kepler.
  3. Why do you all crap about FP64 when its literally a hindrance for the applications these cards will be used for? Oh i know, stupid fanboys on the internet not researching shit
  4. Look at that single thread performance too, if we are on the topic of metrics that make no sense for the usecase Exactly. IIRC it actually favours the double FP16 mode CUDA can do, for twice the throughput.
  5. noone buys this out of the pocket. Everyone who benefits by one is employed by a big company
  6. You have no idea how convenient it is to have a fully featured workstation laptop. along with a full workstation pc. the ability to work anywhere without problems, and have no issues with compatibility is great. though of course they are fucking expensive, but usually you get it from work anyway.

Apparently my number is in a sex service ads ma…

i will also mention how its possible to just have a number advertised like that, with no checking... probably use that somehow to gain some traction and then get money

Apparently my number is in a sex service ads ma…

i will be very insistent with it being a big problem for me, try to get them to offer something

Apparently my number is in a sex service ads ma…

    i will most definitely not
  10. 3000 is not exactly "thousands"... its bad, but its not even near the death toll of civilians in middle east getting bomed by drones just because there may or may not be a man with a gun hiding in that village *cough* there is more guns in america than people *cough*
  11. get over it, its been 15 years ffs. worse things have happened since and noone talks of it... /offtopic @OP got me with this one, was not ready

Thanks for the immense support, and no Kloaked, it was my grandfather
  13. Apparently my number is in a sex service ads magazine. Thats just the shit i wanted to deal with this week

  14. yeah its really not bad. plus you play them for the story. its an RPG ffs... who goes to play RPGs for their amazing graphics...
  15. ha thanks. i think ill go with the TPLing 801.11ac based one.
  16. I dont have a router. I have a modem with a built in wireless antenna from my ISP, but its so crap it can only support 4 devices at once (and at b speeds) so i have problems with connection all the time. the signal strenght is good across the apartment
  17. Too expensive compared to something like this https://www.mimovrste.com/usmerjevalniki-routerji/tp-link-brezzicni-router-archer-c20i-ac750?v=699690
  18. You also have to remember the android community is a really small part of the whole userbase. Also hiring people who they know are capable and tested working together is a good business practice. Plus if those devs wanted to keep PA going, they would atleast make sure there are people to succeed them. Dont blame it on a company. They decided to completly ditch the project. OP just invited them in.
  19. oh powerline... yeah no, i cant exactly connect my phones, tvs and a wireless printer to powerline
  20. I know right. So inconsiderate of OnePlus to be both offering very agressively priced phones AND at the same time giving jobs to people who have proven how much they love Android and working with it... I mean how dare they...
  21. as a cable, any cable will do 6Gb no problem. What determines the actual link speed is the slowest point, either the drive or the controller. If you have a semi modern motherboard, it will be SATA3 based, and all HDDs are atleast SATA2. That makes more sense yes.
  22. No they are actually all the same. The only difference is physical, as SATA2 spec introduced locking mechanisms
