  1. I am surprised that no one ever has come up with that. Most new builders I know suffer from it. I am not a new builder but I hate it too. Why do power cables have to hurt when plugging in or plugging out? Non hurting power cables without sharp points or edges would be a true innovation IMO.
  2. I suggest watching youtube videos and researching google. I don't want to mislead you but here's my take. Start with 1.30 vcore. Test stability. Then decrease voltage by 0,025 and test again. If unstable, bump vcore by 0,025. I recommend against high LLC but who knows?
  3. I purchased an Sandisk Extreme Pro 256GB. I need to find out what my product's serial number is in order to register it. However, there are 3 different codes on the back of the USB drive. I can't decipher which one is the serial code: Character (or letter): C Integer: I Minus sign (or hyphen): - 1.) CCCCIII-IIIC 2.) CCIIIIIIIIIC 3.) CCCC-CCC-CCC-CCCCIII Maybe, if you already own a Sandisk product and have already figured it out so you can help me. ? ^^ Thank you very much! I really need this.
  4. I connected the LED controller to the PSU via another cable, and the problem now seems to be fixed. Previously, the LED controller and HDD were connected to the PSU via the same cable. Fans are still connected to the mobo, not to the PSU. I did not try to connect them directly to the PSU. This could have been maybe another solution.
  5. I have two Nzxt fans with RGB lights on them (Aer RGB Fans). Several weeks ago, after turning on my computer, they just started to look dimmer than before. It is extremely weird. They are not able to be dimmed down. The control unit is not capable of doing it. So, we can dismiss a software or RGB controller problem. What is even more strange is at random intervals they go back to their normal state, and after a random amount of time they become dim again. What could be causing this? How can I solve it? My system: Gigabyte Z390 Auros Master || Intel i9 9900k || Nzxt Kraken x62 || G.SKILL Trident Z (F4-3200C14D-16GTZ) DDR4 3200MHz C14 || Evga 1080 Ti SC2 || Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB || Samsung 850 Evo 1TB || WD Desktop Black 1 TB || NZXT S340 Elite Steel || Seasonic Focus Plus 650W || 2 x Nzxt Aer RGB Fans || Nzxt Hue+ Lighting Control
  6. So, is it not the employer who is giving you a job in the first place outside the US?
  7. Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 850W around 120€ Seasonic Prime Gold Gold 850W around 160€ Seasonic Prime Ultra Gold 850W around 205€ Which one should I choose? Prime ultra has a longer warranty. What else? All of the reviews show that all of them are incredibly high quality. I want to go for the cheapest one (which is Focus Plus 850W Gold), but I am not sure. :D System: 9900k; RTX 2080 Ti; 3 SSD, 3 Case fan, 1 AiO cooling for CPU; 1 high end mobo; some RGB strips and control unit; all of the components are overclocked.
  8. Review PSUs. But please do a thorough review. Examine the internals of the PSU etc.
  9. Anyways. I suppose it is a CM 550W Bronze. It is a decent PSU. Not a top tier PSU but it's for sure reliable. It'll work very well for your system.
  10. CX, CS or CX-M? There is no CM series from Corsair.
  11. Yes. But is it a quality PSU? There are PSUs which are 550W and above but their build quality is so low that putting them into your system is dangerous.
  12. First, you should make sure that other video services like Youtube aren't slow as well. If they are, the source of the problem is likely to be your system.
  13. I don't know the exact model number and code. But high end mobos from manufacturers should be like this: Asus Saberbooth Gigabyte xxxxx-UD5 Asrock xxxxx Extreme Any of them should do the job for you.
  14. Well, it depends on the cooling. With the stock cooler, 80°C should be normal for the stock cooler.
  15. After 16 GB, it does not matter how much RAM you have. Low latency and higher RAM frequency is associated with higher performance.
  16. Failing cards concerns only the first batch of the produced cards so far. Those which are produced recently should have no problem.
  17. Why are Seasonic Focus Plus Gold/Platinum series a second tier?
  18. Save more money and get a nice 2080, and then overclock it. You will regret it if you get a 2070.
  19. This is perhaps going to be pure generalization. I am curious to find out if the US culture is more employer friendly. I studied in a fairly international university and currently employed by a multinational company. At the dinner or lunch table in my university cafeteria and in the company I overheard some people talking about certain practices within the companies throughout their lives. Furthermore, I read quite a lot of threads on several subreddits and various online platforms. In the majority of the cases, I realized that in the discussions the Americans tend to quickly come to the employers' the defence. They tend to be more skeptical towards employees and what they claim. They talk more often in the favor of the employers. How well does my experience match the reality? It is inaccurate and unfair to draw big conclusions from personal experiences. So, I am curious about how your experience was.
