NLTech as it is commonly known is a common name. There are multiple companies going under NLTech, but not like ours.

NLTech Media is a news source and review site settled by me (Lucas P.) and Nathan M. We started back in June/may doing streams on Twitch under "Unnamed Sunday Night Tech Show". After scheduling difficulties, we decided to end the stream and start TheTechMagSiteBlog. That name didn't last within 2 weeks being replaced by TechNewsForTheWorld.

After about a month under TechNewsForTheWorld we took all of our work and came up with Nathan And Lucas Tech. Of course the & symbol cant be used in URLs with Wordpress, so we settled with NLTech. And at times the T in tech stands for Tim, our unseen force.

NLTech now has a wordpress site, and we do have access to NLTech.CF for the future.

  1. Yeah, for me I just do CSGO and video editing. Most intense is probably Dirty Bomb. My brother basically plays The Division, and Warframe
  2. I have looked before into an HD 7570 since you can find them for $25 easily.
  3. Office Depot does that? I will look into it once I can get the thing to actually boot at all and post Windows.
  4. Where tho? I have looked on LetGo and I saw two for $200 even
  5. Yeah, I have gotten used to seeing those surfing ebay. It is usually pretty easy to spot them
  6. The thing about the 750Ti is that every time I look it up it is $80 or more
  7. I have had an older "workstation" around my house in non working condition for about a year now. I got it for free with a 250gb HDD, Core 2 Quad Q9550, and 8 GB DDR2 RAM. It is a Dell Optiplex 960. Today is my brother's birthday and I have been thinking of working on it to get it into good condition, I took all the parts back together and assembled them with a different 500 GB HDD. The 500 GB HDD I got from a SFF HP RP5800 and is kinda known for fucking up Windows. It is my best bet, I know my brother doesn't want anything under 500 GB since that is what his laptop has right now. This PC would be a huge upgrade for him. The 500 GB HDD right now has a bunch of word documents from my mom's old hotel and a fucked up Windows 8 install. I popped it into our current machine to look through it, back it up, and such. If I clear everything from the HDD (I also need to know how, I have tried before and Windows doesn't like you to just right click and delete System32) and put on a Windows 10 installer, when I boot it up would it go to a Windows 10 install screen? Also, on a $50 budget, what do you think I could get for a GPU for it, right now it has an old ATI X700 Pro (256 mb) in it that I have been trying to sell.
  8. I looked them up and even the 4 gb 2007 models going for $200 with stock HDD (5.4k 80 gb)
  9. Hi. We are looking at purchasing Mid 2007 Macbooks for $60. We were wondering after upgrades, what could the turn around be? New Battery - $20 New HDD 500 GB - $35 New RAM (upping from 2 gb to 6) - $25
  10. Usually it lands within the margin of error, if something is 3% stronger on UserBenchmark, take a safe bet and assume it's about on par, but if something is about 40% better, you can judge off that.
  11. I already said, I have a budget and the 1030 and 750 TI break that way too much
  12. What about the HD 8570? I also found that for a bit more. I only have a 250w PSU, so that's also pretty tight
  13. The 750 TI is atleast $80 from what I have seen. The 1030 - $100. I have a strict budget of about $30.
