It should stay relevant for quite a while. How long is impossible to say, though.

The next generation of Intel's enthusiast CPUs should work on the X99 chipset (or at least LGA 2011-3 socket), so you've got upgrade options in the future if it's not cutting it for you.

Your setup will more than like fall into the category you described for years to come so no need to worry about picking up Haswell-E towards the end.  You've got a relatively high end build, so it'll be years before it's just good enough to get by.
I wouldn't consider Windows 7 a "latest version of Windows".  A Pentium II is definitely no longer relevant.  It will not work with the actual latest version of Windows due to architecture limitations.

It will be able to do everything it can do now 10 years from now. It will fall behind the current CPUs paired with the current GPUs and monitor tech pretty bad in probably 5 years but still would probably see a great performance jump simply upgrading the GPU and monitor but it won't be as powerful as the latest GPU paired with the latest CPU if you get what I'm saying. In 10 years it will probably greatly fall behind multithreaded applications if you are using it to say... render 16K video... it will do 8k video just fine because that is where we are at now.... the new GoPro coming out this year is supposed to be 8k and it's a current generation CPU built to handle that, though at a much slower speed than its Xeon counterparts on the same socket.

that happens when a producer isn't careful enough with their radiator or the transport company isn't.
    Won't affect cooling that much

It is damaged, but the damage is minor and does not effect performance whatsoever, my H110 has had no difference in cooling performance after I messed up about 20 Fins while I  dropped some ice on it.

I believe they'll fit but they'll be a bit starved for air up there. Check out HardwareCanucks' review. Dimitri goes into detail about it.

There shouldn't be a problem either if you mount the rad on one side and the fans on the other (there's a plastic cover at the top of the case)

If the GPU and system still works then it probably didn't cause any damage but everytime you turn your rig on with that PSU you run the risk of killing your components, no one can say when it will happen.
