  1. Ok, first of all, having an air conditioner blow potentially moist air molecules towards expensive pc components is a very bad idea. I agree that there will not be any condensation on the metal heat sinks and stuff, but still... cold air can be humid or moist and can cause damage to components. I personally attached a huge fan blower fan to my PC. A little smaller than the one in Linus's video about attaching high volume of air blowing fans cooling a PC. It turned out well. Not practical due to the loud fan though. Conclusion: I personally do not want to ruin my PC components only because I wanted to blow cool air into my case. It's really on you. I wouldn't risk it.
  2. I agree. LTT should do something worth filming to the server room.
  3. To sell your Macbook, I would first post on Craigslist (like said in the post above) and also check on some Facebook for sale, wanted, or free sites those could be good. Personally, I have tried on the Facebook sites to get my graphics card for my current computer rig now. So, try it out. Also, try posting something on LetGo. I haven't tried doing this before. So, no guarantee. Good Luck! -Al_net
  4. So, basically, "locked" means the phone is SET to that certain carrier. No other carrier like Sprint would work on a AT&T phone. In your case, you are looking at a AT&T phone which is locked to SIM cards only made/sold by AT&T or other AT&T companies (such as consumer cellular).
  5. For all of those that already installed IOS 11... Be very careful in downloading profiles for apps. Some of these profiles will install apps that you do not want (malware). Be careful before you install a profile.
  6. Its not going to stay strapped on the air pump... Its only going to temporary. For the sake of the desktop I would tape it to the rad of my water cooling loop to achieve ok cooling.
  7. I recently found a high output air pump and though I could be a good idea to strap it to my laptop as a air cooler. Of course, I would have to take out the stock air cooler on my laptop. Let me know if I should do it in order to overclock my cpu. If you want me to use it on a desktop... I am also willing to do so. Let me know.
  8. Personally I like Apple's products, but hate the company. But, I agree that iPhones are guarantee to work for 365 days... thats why there is warranty. The hardware inside of the iPhone is purposely not suppose to last. Thats how the world works now and its all because we live in a world where everybody loves money which is a bad thing. Regardless, Apple should improve the quality of the hardware of their products to achieve long lasting products, but to get this we as consumers would have to spend A LOT more on the iPhones.
  9. True be that... I personally have a 6s plus and hope that it will handle the new software. According to Apple the new IOS 11 will be available on eariler versions of the iPhone like the 5s. But, I'm not sure about the 5 or 5c.
  10. So... to all of those who don't already know IOS 11 is in its beta stages, and on its way for release in the fall. Many new features are coming to IOS. Some of which are stated below. New features: 4 option variable flashlight brightness New control center layout New customization control center Screen recorder (finally!) The new "Files" app New disabled notifications while driving (good for the teens) New live photo effects (like Instagram with their "Boomerang") New and improved SIRI commands (including: "play something I like", "close (app)") New look to the passcode when opening the phone New look to close an apple New look to control center New look of easy access bar on IPads New "Dock" for IPad multitasking New "Drag and Drop" to IPads (Allows you to move text, photos, etc across apps) More powerful use of Apple Pencil New document scanner in Notes New "QuickType" keyboard New "ARKit" framework (see below) The new ARKit framework allows developers to build "...unparalleled AR experiences. By blending digital objects and information with the environment around you, augmented reality takes apps beyond the screen, freeing them to interact with the real world". This new framework baseically says that Apps now know everything you do and now can interact with you. Which is pretty dang scary. Anyway... Apple IOS 11 comes out this fall! It should definitely change the iPhone, iPad and all of Apple. More information is available at apple.com/ios/ios-11-preview If you want to participate in IOS 11 Beta visit: beta.apple.com
  11. Pulling the plug from your computer is not a very good idea... Doing so can potentually ruin your hard drive... I do not know what happens to an SSD. If you hold the power button down it will shut down your computer faster, but as some of the comments have already said, It will corrupt data as it is "flushed" into the memory which is cleared as soon as the PC goes "black".
