  1. i mean, in those games you arent really loosing much fidelity in the first place, sooooo. as if you need heatsinks on low capacity dimms.
  2. The PSU is terrible. Id encourage taking a look at a B560 + 11400 combo. Also, how acceptable is it to grab a prebuild?
  3. And yet VCN is fine quality wise. Not great, but fine for casual streaming. Wattage wise thats fine, however avoid that PSU, its terrible. Skip getting thermal paste, and dont get a cooler. Use the included cooler and the included thermal paste. Put the saving towards a propper PSU abd perhaps dualchannel memmory.
  4. No CPU on AM4 really needs more than a single 8-pin, unless you are extreme OC using some more exotic cooling solution
  5. You dont, its a per game implementation thing, the Driver seemingly does not really matter.
  6. I think its worth noting that people completely see your point. Its just that the point is irrelevant given the context.
  7. given its a Kratos M1. id avoid. also, this doesnt match with the specs you provided in the OP.
  8. sales can oddly enough be a way to easily waste money. but my suggestion is taking a look at barebones kits or minisystems like a PN50/51. They are neat, you can customize them a decent bit and offer reasonable hardware for the typical selling price.
  9. It is still something you need to configure on your own. If you want something else, a ASrock Deskmini A300 is probably worth a look then.
  10. Would a small formfactor system like a Asus PN50/PN51 be desirable? Small footprint while offering quite good office and regular usage performance. You can get such systems fully configured, or as Barebones to add memmory and storage. Edit: https://www.amazon.com/PN50-BBR065MD-Renoir-R5-4500U-USB3-1-Barebone/dp/B08TGXXGMK/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=PN50&qid=1624396918&sr=8-3 As an example, just add memmory and storage and you have a very neat small formfactor machine
  11. then dont lie/missread. just say you have a gripe with how low the UVP is set at 9.6V. And suggest perhaps a lower bar for UVP to be semi-arbitrarily set to bring units into Tier D. again, lack of UVP and independant regulation is reason enough for tier D. As far as the purpose of this list is concerned.
  12. if you read the legend, you can quite clearly see it in tier C Ripple isnt good, but its not "very bad" in the review you provided, it is specifically shown that UVP works. review didnt really test beyond 120%. Now since the CX650M has a OPP set at 130%, and the CXM shuts down due to UVP before reaching 130%. I can only guess OPP sits higher than the 120% they tested. Especially since afaik these two units share the same plattform. Holdup time isnt good tho, but its a Tier C powersupply, its not really perticularly good. @Juularprobably has better info on this.
  13. i mean, lack of UVP coverage and lack of dedicated regulation is kinda reason enough as far as this list is concerned. its kinda why lack of OTP is reason to instantly move it down to Tier C. if the fan fails, you are kinda out of luck.
  14. Thats plenty for that build.
  15. They are the same. If you read the legend you will see why its marked with "white".
  16. Vega iGPUs is indeed better. Than 11th gen mobile.
  17. Well, Asus sells Focus and Prime rebrands (mostly). Typically the same or more expensive than other Focus or Prime rebrands, and for the price they typically arent that nicely priced compared to other offerings.
  18. if he is reffering to the PSUcultist PSU tierlist, it doesnt. in fact it puts it in the Multirail/switchable category compared to singlerail on the AX. Which is "higher" on the list, but also just better at the wattages these PSUs are available in. they are both guilded, but thats just because the tierlist doesnt really differentiate above Bitfenix Whisper M quality wise. it doesnt do that tho. And if you were to ask, they would say the AXi is the best PSU in corsairs lineup (and on the consumer market in general). The AXi being in no way comparable to the AX, as the AXi is just way better. and as mentioned earlier, the HX and HXi are both rated higher on the list aswell, due to being in the Multirail/switchable section.
  19. The P GM specifically is that bad. The AP GM is allright The best out of the ones listed is the MSI A650GF. Its also cheaper.
  20. Afaik the AX isnt better........ Its just worse and (typically) more expensive.
  21. What country are you buying in? Hard to point to sbything specific without knowing what is available
  22. i mean, that would help if there wasnt allready lower end SKUs that the cards could instead be turned into. like regardless they cant keep up with demand, but it is making it worse for allready existing SKUs. And by extension, the orders that have yet to be fulfilled.
