  1. Would you enlighten me are to where's the Legendary edition for less than $10? I could only find it for $23 Couldn't find the coupon, if that's it.
  2. IMO, the difference is how much you have to invest in hardware to be able to play at, say, 60FPS average on a 4k and on a 1440p monitor with the same quality but without AA. I have played on both and the difference between 4k and 1440p is huge but it's not worth the cash you need to invest to be able to play at that big of a resolution. 1080p, 1440p, 4k, they're all subjective to one's perception and also to one's economic power (not sure if that's the right expression, just how much cash you got to spend with futile things).
  3. Of course not. The universe is really big, perhaps infinite, and, obviously, there's only life on this planet. We fuckin RULE! Now, seriously, after you have any kind of inexplicable experience with sighting stuff on the sky you really start to wonder. That's what made me, anyway. After that occasion, I just spent a lotta time reading about it and taking my own conclusions regarding life outside Earth and religions that talk about it. But, bottom line, if any intelligent extraterrestrial beings are aknowledged by governments or just start making massive apparitions, then whoever didn't believe in it will have to believe and whoever believed in it is just gonna be less surprised. If nothing like that happens whilst you're alive, it won't have made any difference in anyone's life. So, who cares? Just be happy with whatever you believe in Although I'd reaaaaaaally love to live in a Star Wars/Star Trek/Etc universe where you could travel to other plantes just like you travel to another country.
  4. I think it's worth the money to have a 1440p monitor for gaming and a second 1080p to monitor stuff (p0rn) and your video card can probably handle it. However, that's really subjective as some people don't find the 1440p experience any better than the 1080p's. You should try a 1440p monitor before buying it to be sure you'll actually enjoy it. But be aware: once you go 1440p, anything less than that looks so bad.
  5. If you'd like to try a wireless headset I don't think you can't find many with that budget. I can only think of the Corsair Vengeance 2100/H2100, the Logitech G930 and the SkullCandy PLYR1. I own the V2100 and have no complaints whatsoever, a really great headset for it's price and build quality and comfort. I have read many reviews that made me dislike the G930 but that's up to one's own understanding of reviews. The PLYR1 is kind of a "cheap" headset for it's price. I think it's a good headset but the V2100 (and probably the G930) are a better investment. Regarding the different sound channels (game chat and game sound control), I'm pretty sure the PLYR1 has it but I'm not sure about the V2100 or G930 as I don't feel the need for that. Even though you like this, I would take other aspects in consideration before that like build quality, comfort and battery life over time. Good luck.
  6. It's irrelevant, it makes no difference in anyone who's already subscribed's life. It's just creating a little hype to make people subscribe to the channel or look for the video if it's already been posted, they need more viewers/subscribers to have more profit, no problem with that. I like it and if they need to make things like this to "survive" I'm totally fine. Even more advertising, I don't even care. I'd like to see an annotation linking to said video after it's released. It's kind of boring but it'd be awesome if they did that to "new viewers".
  7. Bottom line: even a "slow user grade SSD" such as the 840 EVO/MX100 etc will most likely not die on you because you have reached the limits of writes on the drive. You'll probably need a better SSD (SATA Express, for example) or a bigger SSD before your "old" one dies so I don't really see the point of buying expensive SSDs if you're not using it for professional meanings.
  8. 4GB is not enough AT ALL. I find myself always maxing out 3.8GB when gaming so I gotta remember to close any other programs to stop the freezes and stuff (my current rig has 4GB. Sometimes it's better to use my 8GB RAM ultrabook for daily stuff). I'm just gonna skip the 8GB RAM step with desktops just because why not - it's so cheap.
  9. Before my buddies stopped playing they let me try a little bit of their maxed out characters. Sure it looks like a lotta fun but I don't know if I'd have the patience to grind to those levels and/or to become good at PvP... I'm just too good at FPS and DotA at the moment to focus on an MMO, even though I'd like to have the time and will to give them a try, once more. (I have played, at least, 20 different MMOs for over 8~9 years)
  10. If you would like to give browns a try and you would also like to have macros, media keys, backlighting, big and heavy with an arm rest and rubberized WASD, I gotta say I have no regrets buying the G710+. Good luck.
  11. I used to love MMOs and I really wanted to buy GW2.... Most of my friends bought it and have already stopped working. Makes me think if I can still play MMOs after so many... and also it's an action MMO which means you'll have to be actually good at it instead of just pressing hotkeys for your skills/spells. I have The Secret World on Steam and I'm still level 5. Can't even touch it anymore because it's so boring (for me, at least), wonder if I'd be able to actually play more than 12 hours of Guild Wars 2..
  12. Not if you really cared about fashion. Sorry, you're not fashion brah.
  13. Really sad for your ethernet port... not a biggie though, could've been something much worse! Congrats
  14. Speak is really subjective. Being fluent in a language other than your mother tongue unless you lived in the country when you were young is veeeeery hard.... That said, I guess I can speak: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Klingon, Dothraki, C and HTML.
  15. Apple phones are for people that care about fashion. Usually, if you care about fashion, you can afford such things. As I don't care for fashion I have Nokia 1101, clothes without brands and spend all my money with booze, pc, games and women.
  16. Pretty fucking awesome. Congrats!
  17. Hahaha people here are so young.... good old SNES, SEGA MegaDrive, GB, GBA and Pentium III generation of PCs.
  18. As few as you can. Testing and finding a good temperature is better than stuffing 9 fans in you rig.
  19. I type the same way on my Cherry MX browns as I type on my laptop, school, work keyboards. However, while gaming, I believe I do not press so hard.
  20. People tend to think that if you buy a Razer product you're a fanboy and that's just wrong. Sure, if you buy something from them you're probably paying some extra premium for no real advantages but it doesn't make you a fan boy. I have the DA Chroma and love it. However, I would never buy a Razer headset or keyboard - not worth the price.
  21. All right then. Best buck for the bang is definitely the MX100 and 840 EVO I believe. SanDisk and Intel might have good prices as well but I can't talk about them tbh.
  22. IMO it looks really good. Dealbreaker would be that they are also getting rid of Cherry MX. Y U DO DIS?
  23. What's an ergonomic keyboard? This? Not really sure what you mean. Anyway, if you are sure about your Cherry MX flavour, you should think about which features you would like to have: Media keys? Macros? Backlighing? Rubberized WASD keys? And also what's your budget. When you make your mind, find the mechanical keyboard that best fits your "needs" and get it. If you feel like you need, get a nice foam/gel soft arm rest but many keyboards already come with a good enough arm rest.
  24. Any kind of hardware that's designed for high performance and thus will benefit professional users (people that make a living out of working with that said hardware) is a professional grade piece of hardware (you might confuse it with enthusiast, which's just someone that can afford professional grade stuff but doesn't have to), IMO. Anyway, I think there are many better places to spend your money other than on your SSD. As I said before, I'd rather get more space of a slower SSD than less space of a faster SSD. Or get a better GPU/CPU/Memory. Either way, it's all about how much you can afford. Hell, I wish I had 2 850 PROs in RAID 0. As the OP didn't mention budget, current system, etc, I'm just sharing my thoughts that an SSD is not where you want to spend your money if you want better performance for games, not talking about rendering, having a home server, etc.
