  1. Hi, I am currently searching for a good HDMI switch which enables me to use my notebook, playstation, Nintendo switch and not swapping monitor cables all the time. As I have an wqhd 165hz monitor in my living room for the consoles and notebook to use, it would be nice if I can buy a hdmi switch with 3 or more inputs and the possibility for wqhd 144hz or higher. Is there already a thread for this? Are there good brands for HDMI switches? Do you have any recommendations? Thank you for your help.
  2. Hi Since i bought my pc in january 2021 i had this problem that in some situations, my audio seems to either "pop" or in some cases has some kind of "crackling", especially with some people on teamspeak/discord. But the "crackling" sound doesnt happen with each audio source, only sometimes. The audio "pop" noise is repeatable for me, by just spamming the windows sound from high to low, when i try to record the sound with OBS there is no popping noise. The popping noise also happens when i spam the mute or unmute button on teamspeak. This is my current setup: Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro Audio Interface: behringer UMC202HD The behringer is connected to the pc via usb. I had this issue for a while now, and it really starts to annoy me. I tried many things but cannot find a fix for this issue.
  3. Hi Guys, I am currently preparing to move in a bigger Apartment with my girlfriend and we are currently deciding wether we should have our PCs in a room together or in separate rooms. My biggest concern would be Audio in This case, because i dont know if it is possible to be in the Same room and talking with other people on discord (Not together on the some one essentially) without otherd hearing my gf or vice versa. I thought about positioning the desks next to each other or away from each other. Next Thing Was maybe using those foam Things you put on Walls? And the question i Was having at the end was, should we either both have a Micro phone like shure/tbone/etc. or is it really irrelevant if she has a Headset and i a desk mic? If anybody has suggestions or maybe a Post which is already for This topic i would be happy. If im in the wrong section with This please Tell me so.
  4. @Levent @Blokeur I did try to set the voltage of VDDP & VDDG to 900, but it didnt seem to change anything for me. But as i said before. The main point where i here the crackling & popping sounds are in Teamspeak (like spamming mute and unmute) and sometimes when someone starts talking in teamspeak (irrelevant who). I wouldnt notice anything in games or videos. But as that happens with multiple headphones, on another pc and on a different operating system im not sure anymore if it is because of the motherboard or windows or anything else. @Blokeur if you have teamspeak and can confirm that you have the same problem as me, when spamming mute or unmute you get sound popping/crackling i could rule some things out i guess.
  5. At this point i am really confused about audio issues in computers. The problem that i see is that its really hard to determine audio problems in computers. I have the problem on a different pc, i have the problem on windows & linux. I have the problem with a different headset/headphones. So i am really not sure anymore what is the reason for audio popping & crackling. The most obvious reason for me would be its a windows issue and linux just has a different audio problem.
  6. Which one of These setting should i change? I can change the upper vddp to values like -0.1, - 0.2 etc. And the lower 2 i can change to manual and Insert a value. I also just got an fiio e10k olympus 2 to check if it is my behringer interface which creates the problems, but as the same problems occur with both and on windows / Arch Linux. I can probably rule out audio interface / driver / operating system as the error source. Probably need to test with other headphones if they are the problem but if not i can just guess it has to be something with the hardware in the pc.
  7. Seems like the cmos reset didnt do anything about the little cracks. Changing the volt on the settings didnt do any good (went and made VDDG and VDDP to 1, because i couldnt set them to anything lower than 1 or 0, i can only increment by 1 as it seems in the bios)
  8. Well changing that value didnt do the computer any good, now i am force to Do a cmos reset xD Maybe that fixes it though
  9. The only thing i see in the reddit thread is that there are constant sound cracking problems. But i only have them in certain scenarios. Could that still be the cpu? It doesnt change from 100% load to idle
  10. I didnt change anything with the clock speed or voltage on that board or cpu. Can there still be problems with that?
  11. Hi Guys, Some Months ago i built my new pc. Ryzen 5 5600x Gigabyte b550 aorus pro v2 RTX 3060TI 32GB 3600 DDR 4 so the problem which i realised after about 1 month is that the usb ports and connection was kinda weird and sometimes stopped. Thats something which has been talked about alot in recent months about this motherboard so i flashed the bios to the current F13h. Less problems, but sometimes i feel like there are still some problems with the usb connection. But maybe its just my paranoia. But a major thing i noticed with this pc, is that i get sound crackling when multiple sounds are playing or sound starts or stops fast. A good test for that would be, going into teamspeak 3, and spamming the mute/unmute button, normally the sound would not get distorted and start to pop/crackle. On this pc it does. And the only thing i can imagine doing this, would be the motherboard usb connectors. I use a Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD as an audio interface with an T.Bone SC450 mic and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro Headphones. I figure its a problem with the behringer and drivers or the usb ports on this pc. The sound popping / crackling really only occurs when sounds start or stop abruptly, or if different people talk (like on MS Teams). It's not the most annoying problem because in videos or games i barely notice anything like that, maybe i just imagine it in those. So today im going to test the sound configuration like it is on another pc, and if there arent any of the mentioned problems i probably am going to swap out my motherboard. So in this case i would be interested what a good motherboard for my current configuartion would be instead of the gigabyte one. I would like a good amount of usb ports and if possible a good onboard sound solution.
  12. I probably dont understand how, but wouldnt that make the headphone have a 40cm cable and at the end instead of going into the umc202hd it goes into a bt adapter? Thats not really wireless in my thoughts @CTR640
  13. and are there no equal headphones to a dt990 pro in the wireless section?
  14. How would i change wired headphones into wireless, it still has a cable on it ?
  15. because i would like headphones which dont need cables. Just more comfort.
  16. Hi Guys, the last weeks i really thought of changing my audio equipment and thought of maybe getting wireless headphones for gaming & youtube. My current setup: Behringer UMC 202HD Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm T.Bone SC450 XLR i would like to change the headphones to a wireless variant. But on the other hand i really like the sound quality of the dt 990 pro. So im questioning wether there are equal good headphones, which are wireless and dont cost about 500€ +. Is there a thread for wireless headphone recommendations which i overlooked? If not can you give me some advice on new ones? Thank you in advance
  17. I have another question. On the motherboard i have the whole io area has this i guess plastic around it, and because of that my cpu cooler is slightly pressing down on it, but not really to deal any damage to the area, could this lead to problems with static ?
  18. I bought it 2016 in Germany, so it probably has a worse cable which you described. The cable does have a ferrit choke on it though, but maybe a very bad one. I bought the one with ferrit choke and a usb c to usb b to try it out. Is there a reason why usb c would not leave so much interferance?
  19. In Steam Browser, i am not having any issues with static/crackling noises. Wether by scroll through search results or watching youtube videos in the steam browser. Im questioning myself why there is such a problem with this static noise at the moment with my rig. What would be the parts which are the most at fault in these situation. In case i wanted to try swapping some parts? Is it the cpu, or motherboard or something else? Should i maybe buy an pcie usb card and try if the audio interface works better that way with less static? I can imagine the gigabyte board to be faulty when it comes to this static stuff.
  20. Well your issue seems way more hardcore than mine. While you have really hard crackling sound, mine is not all the time, mostly seconds after seconds for once. And mine sounds more like static in the background. But if i would have the same volume as you have, it would nearly sound the same
  21. The freezing/ usb port problem has been solved for now i think after the bios update. What is still bothering me is that i get noise distortions/crackling sounds. For example, i just got a steam message and the notification sound was crackling. That didnt happen before this whole issue.
  22. Thank you so much for your fast help. I will try to flash my bios and see if this happens to solve some problems. I will come back later to tell you how it went.
  23. This could be very well the problem solve for my problems, because of the fact that maybe the bios is f*cked. I do have this folder with an autoexec batchfile and and efiflash exe but how can i flash the bios? Do i need a bootable usb drive (Rufus?) and install the file on it?
