  1. A 280X. Or a 770. Both are excellent choices but are well out of your current budget.
  2. For features, I would say the 690 III due to the points mentioned by others before me. 330R for aesthetics.
  3. Looks pretty good. If you could expand your budget, I'd advise you get a better graphics card, but if you can't, the build is pretty solid as it is.
  4. You still make Mantle sound so good. Oh well, your opinion.
  5. I shall look forward to the build's completetion. Looks pretty sweet.
  6. That's unconfirmed if Mantle is that game changing.
  7. Lower it. Above 90c would be dangerous for the CPU.
  8. Many 280X Much power Such heat Wow You could try looking to get an air conditioner since you are asking about your room temperatures.
  9. I believe this is considered as thread necroing.
  10. Wasn't having the Killer NIC one of your requirements?
  11. If you had a lot more money to spend on the motherboard, you should be ashamed. But if not, you did well, young Padawan.
  12. I like it. Has a pretty nice and plain exterior which I prefer.
  13. 290 if you need the VRAM. 780 if you need Nvidia's features (ShadowPlay, PhysX etc.) Is Mantle that game changing? In my opinion, no. But we're gonna have to wait to find out. I would go with 780 as it's personal preference.
  14. MSI's Gaming motherboards or ASRock's Z87 Killer.I'm curious, but which motherboard did you find?
  15. Pretty much most H87 boards and all Z87 boards will support it. None are the best as it's heavily dependent on your brand preference or feature requirements.
  16. I'm on mobile too. Just tap on your post and you should be able to see 'Edit'.
  17. Sorry, I can't what?Yes, I can. Everybody can. Why can't you?
  18. Is it a viable gaming option? No, but it should hold you until you purchase your graphics card. @shadowkiller64 You might want to edit your post about the OP not being able to read. It's against the CoC to insult others.
  19. Not really. Have you considered 1440p? It's cheaper (may vary) and don't need as much horsepower to run games at max settings (with AA turned down, won't notice the jaggies with it off due to the small pixels). It'd be nice to repost that new system (at the workbench sub-forum), would like to see what you replaced.
  20. AA would be the culprit for it. A memory-eater it is.
  21. Then you should be fine, as long as you don't go mad maxing out all AAs with Ultra, you should be okay. Personally, I would get the 290 so if you wanna play safe, get the 290 for the VRAM in case the 3GB of the 780 Ti is exceeded.
  22. If you exceed 3GB (happens usually when you mod Skyrim like crazy), than the 290 would be more feasible.
  23. 780 Ti hands down, no opposition (since you asked for the best unless restricted by VRAM if the games you play happen to exceed 3GB, than the 290 would be more feasible). If you like good bang for the buck cards, the 780 or the 290 will suit well.
