  1. I also might have this kind of problem because for me with Samsung 850 EVO SSD it takes about 17-18 seconds to boot. (task manager's BIOS time) I usually don't use sleep so I don't know how fast would that be. Rest of the specs down below but I think this is a known "Ryzen issue" (from what I've read) for some reason.
  2. Always a good idea to save where you can! Happy driving!
  3. If you think that you're going to play a lot with that wheel now then you should get it. That's what I would do.
  4. I'm also having the same problem but sometimes it works.
  5. How about this? I'm also looking for a monitor with that criteria and decided it's this or the Acer Predator X34. http://www.techradar.com/reviews/aoc-agon-ag352ucg-gaming-monitor
  6. Maybe if you uninstall it through the Windows Control Panel. Even in the normal version of FSX you have to "uninstall" it a couple times because when you have uninstalled it through the control panel and you close and open it again it's "magically" back there. Anyways try that what I said first and tell did that work? I'm kind of good in these FSX things (5 years of simming) so if you have any other problems feel free to tell me.
  7. If you have a lot of money to spend on a monitor don't get this because it's just 1080p and the picture might look blurry because it's 35". I'd say get the X34.
  8. You have a bit different system than I do but I'll put those settings and you can adjust them a little bit if they're not working in the best way. FSX cfg is in the spoiler. By the way with these settings I get around 25 FPS in the PMDG 737 (a high quality addon aircraft) in London (default scenery with some freeware modifications) but the game is smooth because the V Sync. Here are the other settings; I have a traffic addon and weather addon so for the traffic I'd recommend almost minimum on everything. That was good for me before I got the traffic addon. The weather can be left untouched but if you have really bad performance turn it down. First two pictures are from NVIDIA Inspector. Google it and you should find a link if you don't have it yet.
  9. No, unfortunately the max rotation is 900 degrees but in many racing games the wheel will only turn 90 degrees (visually in the screen). Maybe in the game the wheel itself can turn more but the visual effect isn't same. There is a game called City Car Driving which supports rotation of 900 degrees.(also can be seen on screen) By the way I have that game and it's a bit like in real world (look from Google if interested).
  10. G27 has 900 degree rotation and it has also that software where you can adjust the settings and it automatically selects the correct profiles for the games. You can adjust how much the wheel turns and the strength of the force feedback. I couldn't see well those pedals but I think it has that old mechanism but I think the pedals only broke because they were stored badly at home. So they shouldn't break if you're careful when putting them back into the box when they're not needed. So that wheel is good option too.
  11. I've got the same cooler with overclocked 1700X @3.9GHz and temps idle are about 35 degrees Celsius so I would say you're okay.
  12. By the way I also had a Thrustmaster wheel once. I can't remember which model but I had used it about 2 years and the brake pedal broke. First I didn't know that and when I was playing I was wondering why the brake pedal doesn't work. When I opened the pedals I noticed that the pedal returning system is a bit bad because it can break very easily and the whole pedal was made from plastic so it was cracked. The G27 is in my opinion better quality product and the pedal mechanism is much better. But do Thrustmaster have that kind of pedal mechanism today because it was older model what I had. Here's a picture what I mean with that pedal returning mechanism: This is G27 and you should get that kind of pedal mechanism because it's more durable.
  13. Yes it is and the G27 has it. Also the G29/G920 has force feedback.
  14. I know two great options. The Logitech G27 which I currently have. I'm not sure about the price because I bought it 2 years ago and I live in Europe but it's a great wheel. For me it cost about 200 euros which is about 290 CAD so it fits your budget and it comes with a shifter unlike the second good option G29 or the G920 (G29 compatible with PC and PS4 and G920 with PC and Xbox One). G29/G920 doesn't come with a shifter but you can buy one seperately. The pedalset that comes with the G29/G920 have clutch pedal though. But this is my opinion. Feel free to ask if something is unclear.
