  1. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15707 much cheaper & u can easily swap the top & bottom
  2. the monitors u r looking are very old If i were you, I would look for some Benq models as they are relatively cheap like eg, EW2775zh (27") or a GW2470h (24", good ppi) If price is no concern than look for those Dell ultrasharp IPS as they have very good stands. However if the models which u stated are the only options i would go for the last one. Reason : the first stand will have the same "low" ppi which u would hate. Between the 2nd and the 3rd, the 3rd is more future proof i feel.
  3. go for a PCI e card if the peripherals u intend to use will remain connected for extended periods of time. Reason: hubs don't last long when u use them for long hours continuously.
  4. I will probably not end but AMD can go Nvidia way by nerfing integer performance on gaming oriented gpu. That will at least balance things out and make AMD availability at par with Nvidia.
  5. what gpu u currently have? I won't mind waiting 3-4 months for a vega as that would last me 4-5 years. On the other hand, there is no guarantee that those b*t*h miners will not buy up all the vegas and jack up prices & create stock unavailability etc. I would rather go for a used 1070 over a 980 Ti. Reason: 980Ti is a power hog compared to the 1070 & power drain increases with OC. If i take into account the inflated power cost for the next 3 years due to a oc'd 980Ti, I would take a 1070, save the power bill & replace the 1070 in 3yrs time.
  6. as u are mounting it on wall, i am assuming u r going to sit a few distance away(>2.5 Ft) so u should get a bigger size unless u want to squint your eyes. ur old monitor is 10yrs old and i am guessing u would want your new monitor to last for at least 4-5 years. In that case go for a resolution higher than 1080p. coz by end of 2018, 1440p will most likely be the new defacto standard. In view of this I would recommend u look for something like a 29" 1440p & 120hz.
  7. from where did u get that? wiki? LOL Come back to the real world. First of all good luck finding it and second super good luck finding it below $220. 1050Ti is available for like $140
