  1. my streaming PC has a 5600x + 16GB of 3600 mhz if that matters
  2. After talking to some other people, i went ahead and bought a GTX 1650 Super off ebay(RIP wallet, dang scalpers) Hopefully it works out, if anybody has any other suggestions i have 30 days to return the GPU
  3. Dont have a budget, just trying to figure out what i need. This is a secondary PC so id be using the CPU for encoding im guessing. Can i get by with a GT 710/730, maybe go with a 1650 or wait for the 3050?
  4. I currently have a secondary streaming PC for Twitch/Youtube and i need a GPU for it(its an AMD RX 5600X build) Should i go something cheap like a GT 710,730,1030 or something a little better like a 1050/1050TI/1650? I obviously need a display out GPU for AMD, my monitor ill be using is my left over 1080p 144hz Monitor i got from Dell I have a separate entire PC for gaming that has a 5800X and RTX 3070
  5. Ive been strongly leaning this Be Quiet Power rock 2 cooler as its only $45 on Amazon and i think i can install it myself Just wanted to get more feedback
  6. Ive recently built a 2nd PC for a 2 PC setup and got around to checking out thermals today. I attached a pic of the build in PC part picker if it shows up correctly My PC currently has 5 fans in it, but one of the Corsair 3 front intake fans that came with the case doesnt work, it only gets RGB and the fans wont spin. I spent today trouble shooting and have had no luck, i think its dead. Anyway while doing some testing, the Ryzen 5 5600X hit 79-80C while downloading Destiny 2 on steam, and hit 81-82C while playing in game at 1080P on a 144hz display I usually build or buy myself a new PC every 4 years give or take. Should i invest in the money for a better CPU cooler? Im using the stock AMD cooler If so, any suggestions? Id prefer something easier to install. I had been looking at the be quiet pure rock 2 black but im not sure i need a new cooler.
  7. Sorry for the late response My old PC: Intel I5 8400 16 GB DDR 4 2400mhz ram 1 TB HD 500 GB M.2 SSD EVGA B3 650 Watt Bronze Power supply Motherboard i got in the shuffle Gigabyte Aorus Elite B550 PC would be used as either a 2nd PC for streaming or a gaming PC in another room(possibly living room) I also have a buddy who is considering building a PC so i may sell him the GPU and Mobo I have not used that PC very much, especially in the last year and i bought a new PC back in Feb so ideally saving as much as i could from that PC. Im looking at the PSU, the storage. I could buy 16gb of 3200mhz for under $100, the CPU and maybe a case
  8. So back in February, i bought a new PC with a Ryzen 7 5800X + RTX 3070 My old rig is an I5 8400 + RTX 2060, which i still own. Ive been entering the newegg shuffle as much as i can to secure a 3060. I finally won today, problem is, i had to buy a B550 mother board. Ive got buddies who are looking to build/upgrade but so far they are hesitant to buy the 3060 i got at MSRP. So im looking into upgrading my previous 2nd rig and turning it into a 2nd PC My previous has the following parts i could salvage 32 GB DDR4 Ram, but its 2400 mhz EVGA B3 650 watt power supply Ive also got storage i could swap over, i could swap the case but the side panels are both missing at the moment So is it worth savaging the current parts, or should i spend the money on higher speed ram, a new PSU and case Ive been leaning for new parts but saving money by swapping would be better. I just know that everyone says Ryzen loves higher speed Ram
  9. If you're building a gaming PC, get a PS5 as Microsoft is putting all their exclusives day and date into Xbox Gamepass which is on PC as well(3 months for $30) and they offer a $1 first month for new subs. I have a PS5, Xbox Series X and a Gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 5800x and RTX 3070 and i rarely use my Xbox. I have a huge library of over 500 games on Xbox digitally that i dont want to lose as well(why i bought the Series X) and im big into Gamepass and console gets different games(like MLB the show, a PS game). but all the exclusives will be on PC gamepass.
  10. Without knowing what kind of stuff you have or your set up(do you play hardwired, wireless headset etc) For $25 ur currency, i would invest in Panasonic Eneloops myself, as i hot swap the batteries when i need fresh ones https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eneloop-Panasonic-K-KJ18MCC40E-battery-charger-white/dp/B07QM9TDMG/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=panasonic+eneloop&qid=1625070002&sr=8-9 But i dont know if this would be something you want or need, but they are great rechargeable batteries
  11. If you use twitter, follow Wario64, thats how i landed my PS5 on November 17th
  12. Definitely get the one X, it also plays some back compat games with enhanced visuals
  13. I have a Sapphire RX 570 4GB and an EVGA RTX 2060 6GB(paired with an I5 8400) in my 2nd PC. I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800x and RTX 3070 back in Feb Im currently trying to land an RTX 3060 TI for my old rig or to sell it to a buddy of mine who is gonna upgrade soon from his 4690K/GTX 770 PC(new build). Its mostly to try for help him but if he doesnt want it ill keep it. I actually got selected for a Newegg Shuffle, had a chance to buy a 3080TI and a mobo for $2100 but that wasnt worth it for me so i passed
  14. I assume you turned off ray tracing?
  15. Greg Salazar is looking for old dirty PC's, hit him up
  16. I updated with the software he uses What about something like this? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-15-6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1650-256gb-ssd-shadow-black/6427566.p?skuId=6427566
  17. I bought one of these and love it, but the motherboard is locked and can only do bios updates with updates they put out Ryzen 7 5800x, RTX 3070 $2499 (out of stock currently) https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Systems/CORSAIR-VENGEANCE-i7200-Series-Gaming-PC/p/CS-9050009-NA Ryzen 5 5600x, RTX 3070 $2249 (out of stock currently) https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Systems/CORSAIR-VENGEANCE-i7200-Series-Gaming-PC/p/CS-9050011-NA Intel I7 11700, RTX 3070 $2399 (currently in stock, 3 week shipping time however) https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Systems/CORSAIR-VENGEANCE-i7200-Series-Gaming-PC/p/CS-9050013-NA These are pricey but are usually in stock and use basically all corsair parts outside of the motherboard and graphics card There are likely better/cheaper options out there to be honest, their 5600x series has gone up in price since my buddy bought his at $2099 That Maingear PC looks like a really good option
  18. Ill ask him but he is at work Will update when i hear back, he is pretty new to video editing so i dont think its anything special
  19. Friend of mine is looking for a video editing laptop, he doesnt do anything professional, this would be used for his twitch videos. He hasnt given me a budget, but i think he doesnt want to spend a lot on this as he just bought a new PC and set up in March He can edit on his PC, but he is also a full time Fireman and wants something he can take with him to the firehouse Any help would be appreciated
