  1. Small update: I got a new desk from Ikea and rotated the rad and moved it to the back of the case. I found it a good time to clean out all the dist as I have to strip the trim from the case in order to get to the top fans. Some photos..
  2. I'd wait for the next generation to roll around unless you need it urgently.
  3. You and I both, brother. I've had 3 razer mice and 1 keyboard, only issues I've had is when I raged and broke the left click on my death adder, still works, just no tactile feedback. I find the products to be alright, wouldn't say that they're exceptional though. And as far as build quality goes, my Black Widow is a heck of a lot better built than my logitech G110 that I had before it (Granted that it was a lower-ended product).
  4. I didn't chuck enough thermal paste on my 3770k, and wondered why it was hitting tmax under full load.
  5. I believe that SONY tried something like this before, being that when you put a CD in your computer, it chucked this little piece of malware on there that prevented pirating the music, it lasted a year or two.
  6. Good 'ol DNS poisoning. Nice find.
  7. I just liked the styling it had better, and the fact that it came with the colour changeable LEDs.
  8. no, VGA cables can do all sorts of weird stuff, I've seen some turn screens a purple colour when they're on their way out. It all depends. But if I were you, I'd be replacing a $5 cable before I replace a graphics card or monitor.
  9. That profile picture, it's just soo. Yeah, that.
  10. It could be your graphics card, but let's start with the cable, it's easier and cheaper to replace.
  11. Hey, firstly, if you run the SSD and HDD in RAID 0, you'll get the same capacity as two of the SSDs, example, if your SSD is 240GB your array will be roughly 480GB. Another thing to note with RAID 0 is that if you lose a drive to corruption, or it dies, you lose your information. If you want RAID 0, I'd get another 3TB HDD and chuck both of them in RAID 0. otherwise, you could go for a RAID 1 (mirrored data for backup) or RAID 5 (like raid 0 but with some chance of recovering data). Hope this helps.
  12. Funny you should mention that, I had issues with sensors when I first got it, it seems to have been fixed with the newer software. Overall this is a nice build, you have done well considering the sheer amount of cables back there, can't say that I'd do the second loop, but each to their own.
  13. I replaced the thermal pads on my Dell Inspiron 1545, put arctic silver 5 on there, yet to load a proper OS on there (running KALI Linux), will be sure to do so and check the temps.
  14. They are nice cables, I've used them in my pc.
  15. Some areas are better than others, bit I think that overall it's not too bad.
