Started building PCs back in 2006 from there I got more interested in modding. dabbled in h2o for the first time in 2006 and was introduced to overclocking. With my 900d system i hit #4 HOF on 3dmark Firestrike for 2xGPU, which was the highest non extremed cooled pc at the time. From there i started my own boutique PC company (UPC) specializing in sleeved solutions and water cooling. We took 2nd place on OCN's MoTM for March 2014

  1. Last night was wire night! i measured the lengths for the cable runs i had planned and went to cut! i am fortunate enough to have one of these bad boys. it makes custom sleeeving soooo much easier and less time consuming. plus is badd ass check out a quick video i took while the machine was working its magic. in this video its cutting the first set of gpu wires i was able to finish the 8p cpu, 4p cpu, one of the 6p gpus and 6/8 wires for the one 8p gpu. just have to solder and do the double wires on the gpus and tackle the other set. and the 24p. should wrap these cables up tonight!
  2. dremel with cutting disc and carbide bit can do just about anything haha
  3. thanks man! it all starts with a plan. once you've got an idea of how you want it to look its just a matter or actually getting there. slow and steady wins the race. a lot of this stuff is a one time deal so it pays to make sure you measured everything and cut straight
  4. while we're waiting on fittings i decided to tackle the psu. i wanted to keep it oem looking but fit the theme so i cut some gold vinyl stickers out for and removed the original stickers, i think this gives a nice original look to the psu. going to measure and cut all the cables today
  5. yeah man charles from xforma has always been an inspiration to me
  6. little update for today my parts should be back today from Bishops cnc machine. i had the rear insert engraved with my logo, and also a sweet ventilation cut out. he also grid cut my acrylic sheet for better light distribution grid: https://gyazo.com/6cd91060d50bba364e773f435b40d7c2 and rear insert! https://gyazo.com/62a3a15309b273b33f223ad12c9e9dad
  7. No photos today,. but a status update! made the radiator mounts so it can be mounted standing up as opposed to laying down. also got the copper pipe, straigtener and bender going to make the loop! ordered some 90d fittings to help out a little bit. Stay tuned! the end is near!
  8. thanks for the heads up. i'll be sure to keep an eye on it!
  9. thanks man. i plugged it with cardboard. the one and only thanks man. some pictures make it more drastic than it is. irl its pretty close!
  10. update new fans for this build bc lets face it, those enermax ones were'nt going to cut it. with the new release of the thermaltake RGB RIING fans i think it'll give much better cooling results and a better chance of a goldish led tone! these are pretty sweet! have to make a 4p fan to molex cable quick to see these babies light up. will post back!
  11. i yanked the i/o plate from an old lian li case i had laying around.
  12. got the new leds in for the midplate.. should be pretty bright! The rear insert is being worked on right now, and should be back next week!
