I can personally recommend the A2+'s, the bass is present, although you will not find it as well flushed out as with larger monitors (M-Audio), or with use of a sub, meaning you'll be able to hear with distinction the Bass or double bass in your music, but it won't be as heavy. The A2+'s also have an included Usb Dac functionality. I can't comment on the Corsair speakers as I personally haven't listened to them. If you can go out to the store try and give the different speaker set-ups a listen. If you were to go with a set of bookshelf speakers, you can always add in a sub later. My issue with the 2.1 setups from companies such as Logitech and Cosair, is you lose the modular aspect, for instance you can have a set of psb speakers, hooked up to a pioneer receiver, aided by a Klipsch sub. In the end, always do more research and even ask more questions.
