  1. Unfortunately it was the end of life for that board, the problems that came with it persisted before and after a full update on the bios. I'm just grateful that it didn't ruin any of my other components. Good riddance.
  2. Update: I've since replaced the motherboard on this system after it died on me completely. The new mobo solved every single issue, I'll likely never know what it was that went bad with that board but it was an experience let me tell you. I hold grudges.
  3. https://www.amazon.com/Rankie-Gold-Plated-Active-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00ZMV7RL2/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1503698701&sr=1-1-fkmr1&keywords=hdmi+to+vga+newlink found a newer product that looks good, should work just as good right?
  4. Thanks, I'll likely be using this as choice.
  5. Will this work for my problem? If so are you able to link the page where you purchased it? Getting mixed opinions about this as well as mixed information when researching this type of problem so I'm looking for someone that's been in my shoes and knows their shit to link me to something that's going to work. I hate being spoon-fed but that's the truth.
  6. Same situation? If possible can you find the exact link where you purchased yours?
  7. I haven't purchased the card just yet and I'm worried it won't include a converter/adapter.
  8. In short, monitor died and I'm now stuck with a very old DELL E171FPb monitor that only has VGA. I'm buying the Zotac - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC Edition Video Card and it doesn't support VGA so I'm needing some kind of adapter/converter so this will work out for the time being. I haven't had any experience with this type of thing so I'm looking for a solution. Can anyone be of assistance?
  9. Those are certainly the symptoms I'm experiencing. After carefully looking over the motherboard I didn't see any signs of wear/tear or anything that looked out of place with the capacitors.
  10. I'm pretty sure it would, those things are pretty tough and have some weight to them. The battery alone in one of them would suffice.
  11. Didn't enjoy the handheld experience for the same reason I don't enjoy gaming on mobile devices. Guess it's hard for me to play anything other than a console.
