My thoughts?  The devs stoked the flames on this one.

 

While harrassment isn't cool, my sympathy is limited.  The last thing that you want to do is provoke people after making a decision that is extremely unpopular.  It makes me wonder what the devs were thinking.

    I wouldn't mind a 3 month exclusivity, but I cannot excuse one year. 

    I don't mind downloading another launcher, but I cannot excuse having the launcher grabs huge chunks of telemetry and taking all rights to mods that I make.
