@savagepain's GPU was a gutted GPU from an HP omen.

I never knew how batld they were....  I fucking hate it!  It's like worse then the stock blower coolers!

 

Well, apparently her GPU is thermal throttling.  She's gonna re apply some of the noctua thermal paste, but she's also looking for an aftermarket 1070 cooler. 

 

Sooo, does anyone have a broken 1070 stock?  Probably not, but it's worth a shot.

    I haven't bought a X70 since the 970. Honestly, you can lower the fan speed after the TIM change since the TIM is usually quite shit (even from EVGA or Zotac).
