  1. I'll look into those. what about without a mic then?
  2. I would be careful with the motherboard. It may not support the 14th gen processor without a bios update, which would require a 12 or 13th gen processor. I also found some concerns about quality. one two. The board is really on newegg. I would recommend a different board. I don't se any I/O you can't get elsewhere.
  3. I have a pair of razer kraken v2 7.1 headphones. They have been decent headphones. I mostly game, but I do like good sound quality(I would rather listed to music at a lower volume than listed to louder slightly distorted music). I like bass, so i'm thinking about something close backed. I would prefer a built in mic, or in line adapter like this has, but I would consider a separate mic. What would be some better headphones close to or under $200 usd?
  4. I have a shop light that started to flicker, and then stopped turning on. I took the light apart and found one of the led strips is not working properly. I bypassed one of the leds and it will turn on dimly now, however not all of the light will turn on on the strip I bypassed. I have been looking for a suitable replacement, but I cannot find a direct replacement. Here are the only numbers I can find on the leds.
  5. I have a project I did in a class for school. The project is an oscilloscope that is run off an usb connection and uses the computer as a screen. The program and everything is made for windows. I was able to get the program installed and running with wine, but I can not get the oscilloscope to work I have tried to use https://github.com/signal11/hidapi I have not been able to get it to work. I am not sure if i am doing something wrong or not.
  6. I am looking for a program that backs up portable drives when you plug them in. My grandmother has a horrible habit of saving everything on usb drives and i want to be able to make back ups of the drives when they are plugged in. She also has files mysteriously become blank or disappear (probably doesn't realize its her clicking the wrong button). If I can back them up when plugged in then I can restore the files when things happen.
  7. Everything seems to be tight and not with any flat spots. Sorry for the long reply.
  8. @Bombastinator It varies by layer. I have been using the same filament with no problems until recently @Kilrah
  9. I have an Ender 3 3D printer. I have been trying to print a box out. On the layers, there are gaps in the layers. I have not seen anything on this kind of layer problem.
  10. That thermal paste is non conductive, so you could put it back in. If it were coating your cpu pins, it could prevent the pins from making contact and the cpu will no longer work correctly. for piece of mind you can clean the pins., but you don't have to based on that photo. Definitely be careful pushing on pins.
  11. I use firefox, and if i leave it open for extended period of time it can cause issues. It will have so much loaded in ram that it causes system wide issues. i think the same could be happening with chrome.
  12. Has the stuttering occurred if chrome is not open before hand?
  13. My laptop will struggle on boot and my disk will be fully utilized. when it subsides my laptop runs as it should. Cpu is not being used or gpu, but the system is still sluggish.
  14. Open task manager if you can while the computer is stuttering to see what the rest of the system is doing.
