  1. good to hear! I guess a temp of 70c and hostspot of 83 is perfectly fine then (i.e. the delta)?
  2. I'm using an RTX 2070 super. Just paranoid about temps after changing fans lol
  3. If you take a look at my other post you can see that I've changed my case fans. Never really noticed hot spot temps before. Used to get around 77c old fan config Now getting 75c with new fans. However, after updating HWMonitor I can see it hits 84 to 87c hot spot temp. Is this dangerously high? (I assume its around the same before changing the fans)
  4. well... using a 3 in and 1 out config work better now and much much quieter
  5. All sorted min 36 avg 45-52 max 72 (100% load after 30mins) config: - 1 x rear exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x top intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x front intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x front intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1200
  6. Might try: - 1 x rear exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x top intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x front intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x front intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1200
  7. Update: after playing about with the fan curve I'm getting 81c under full synthetic load and idling at around 49c. Handbrake encoding at 82c Plan on using this fan curve when gaming and a silent pre-set for work etc
  8. What do you think I should do? Go back to the old config?
  9. Not a little strange how NZXT included case fans work better than 4 nactuas?
  10. Just strange, even under some regular style workloads like handbrake temps just seem to keep climbing ugh
  11. I'll definitely look into it - should be around £20 in the uk just strange how temps overall have increased. I was under the illusion that Nocuta were known for their quiet and high performance fans
  12. I just can't understand why I'm seeing such a big difference in temps maybe instead of: - 1 x rear exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x top exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1200 - 2 x front intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 do: - 1 x rear exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x top exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 - 1 x front exhaust - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1200 - 1 x front intake - Noctua NF-P12 PWM 1700 ?
  13. I'm noticing that when the cpu temp shows 83c (HWMonitor) the exhaust air is barely warm
  14. I should also mention, Upon booting the fans do spin to 100% twice then calm down. Is it anything to worry about?
