  1. it's all sold out I believe.
  2. Other than no freesync, does that seem like a good monitor for the price?
  3. The wife and I are looking at getting new monitors as we've been using second hand monitors for awhile and her's died (had a spare so she's still able to compute with the rest of us), they're all these odd 16x10 resolutions and I hate it because if we go to clone our desktops to our TV the image looks weird. We were looking at a twin set of benq monitors on a bundle from NCIX for $440 with 2ms responce @ 60hz refresh with Flicker free (whatever that is), but then I saw these monitors: http://www.ncix.com/detail/acer-kg221q-bmix-21-5in-gaming-b4-140120.htm?promoid=1388 they are $175 each and have 1ms responce time @ 75hz refresh, the only thing is we both have Nvidia cards and these monitors come with AMD freesync and from what I read (for obvious reasons) Freesync and G-Sync are not cross compatible so we wouldn't have that feature be useable anyway. Just want to know if these are good monitors, they're cheaper than our original plan of the benq bundle and they seem a bit better anyway with the 75hz refresh.
  4. you sir are brave for riding the whole way. I couldn't stand all the bugs crusted into my legs and such.
  5. As another video they did showed, Linus put everything into starting LTT and Nick is doing kind of what I did with jobs, I used to be a flat deck tow truck driver but I left that company due to the owner (not saying that's the reason for him leaving), but I ended up going into auto parts delivery for a way lower wage than what I got towing, but i'm enjoying myself more because I like cars and such. Good luck Nick, it would be nice to see you at the LTT meetup just to meet you once in person.
  6. Security will be dennis at the door.....yup, sounds about right, and sounds like that weeks CSF video as well!
  7. I personally don't like having to use paypal to purchase the subscription, I deleted my paypal a couple of years ago due to issues I had with paypal (and I got a visa debit shortly before the issue). I would love to just be able to drive to there warehouse and hand them the cash directly in person for my yearly subscription than deal with paypal myself, but the wife has a paypal account so she said she would do it for me. I still think there should be more options like direct credit card payments or stuff like that.
  8. I think we would all be happy even if they cut it down to a video every 2 weeks. gives lots of time for editing and to find some good things to do.
  9. I would like to make mention that Dell and some other pre-built PC manufactures will have some customization with power supply wiring, I know this because I was using a Dell power supply for a CB home bench (put a 4 pin molex on a CB and plugged it in) and they had the grey wire swapped with the green wire so instead of using the green to short to black I had ti use grey.
  10. Nicky V was one of the people I was really looking forward to meeting at the LTT meetup, It would be nice if he was there still as kind of a final goodbye to the fans as well. Also, regarding RGB lighting with cars: To my knowledge, lighting can be put inside the vehicle AND can be used at night as long as it is BELOW the TOP of the door panels, and with underglow: the lights MUST be on the INSIDE of the FRAMERAILS meaning they be on the side towards the MIDDLE of the car. the underglow i'm not 100% positive on but the interior lighting bit I was told this by a guy years ago who was into interior lighting and stuff and he inquired directly with the motor vehicle act here in BC, how else could people use light up pedals in there cars?
  11. alrighty, at least I know, what IS the age for tickets so other parents know.
  12. I know I asked earlier in the topic but I just want to make sure, are children aged 10 and under going to be free to enter or will they need there own tickets? I only ask as I have a 9 year old step daughter and I want to bring her along with us.
  13. I noticed that as well, and the hint pic for the video made me think this tiny thing would have an actual separate video card but as I saw it's all built in.
  14. If my 1986 pontiac station wagon was insured i'd play mini bus, that thing has the 3rd row seat in the back, hehe, ghetto limo.
  15. If there was an airport in chilliwack (not sure if there's even a small commuter port there) there IS a bus that goes from chilliwack right to 202st bus loop, pretty much a 20 to 30 minute walk to the events center give or take, and obviously there are cabs there too.
  16. you forgot to add up the general admission ticket of $30, don't wanna take $500 (doubled the price for return) and find out you don't have enough to get in.
  17. I watched the Vector desk mini build and it got me intrigued so I checked out the Vector custom builds website for more info on the desk, unfortunately due to it not being released for public access yet the current link on there site for the mini is broken (why have it there if it just links to an error or "oops" page?). I decided at this point to check out the specs on the full sized desk as I was curious just how big (or small) the big desk was as seeing what linus was saying about the size of the mini was a problem for gaming keyboards and such, I have sense found out the full sized desk is at least 9 inches bigger on both the depth and width of my current desk. This got me wondering just how much smaller the mini is compared to it's big brother and as the website has no specs for the mini I ask LTT if there is any possibility on posting the size of the mini for comparison with the full sized desk.
  18. If only there was an ITG machine there (for anyone who don't know, that's a better version of a DDR machine) I would be completely set as most other locals around here would know, arcades are hard to come by #WinLotteryAndStartAnArcade
  19. Well I have another person coming with us now so three of us will be joining in.
  20. one thing I forgot to mention regarding kids, do tickets need to be purchased for them as well or is there an age limit for children for example 12 and under don't need a ticket?
  21. yes, it is in canadian dollars, and the prices seem to be taxes in and everything, what you see is what you pay.
  22. I think the wife and I will be attending, I know its a family friendly event but I want to make sure that my 4 year old is ok to be there. also, will there be something similar to the garage sale from the warehouse meet up? also, that $500 limo ride would be short for me as I found out I live 10 minutes away from the shop driving lol.
  23. I actually already ordered the 1050ti as the wife was alright with that card, with taxes it came to $235 and she was ok with that. not gonna push it for now as I MIGHT have to upgrade the mobo at some point, had an issue with a card reader/USB3.0 hub on my board but hers worked no problem. i'll see how the 1050ti goes, I do appreciate everyone's input though.
  24. I found that one on NCIX and I like that one for the fact it has the 6 pin connector, I just don't like how manufacturers have mail in rebates listed on NCIX website, I tried for a mail in rebate for my Asrock extreme 3 r2.0 (you know, cut off the info off the box and send it in) and never got my mail in rebate, but that's only $10 so I MIGHT be able to get away with that, just gotta hope.
  25. they tend to get a lot more things than us either before we do or in general.
