  1. Hi guys. I need to remove the HDD from my Scout 2 chassis. I'm not sure how to approach (I'm pretty noob). When I installed it, I just attached the rails and pushed the hard drive in and it snapped into place with a click. But how do I take it out after removing the cables? Should I just push it from the behind where all the cables are?
  2. Hi. I will soon be getting a brand new Sapphire R9 285 video card. On the side of the card below the SAPPHIRE logo there's a button to enable UEFI Bios. Can someone please tell me what does this do? and what is the difference between Legacy Bios and UEFI Bios?
  3. Hi. I have a small question that needs clearing. Currently I'm using one stick of 8GB Kingston value ram (which is not a dual channel kit). So, If I buy another 8GB stick (same brand, same specs) and plug it into the same coloured slot on my board, will they function as a 16GB dual channel kit?
  4. Thanks for the replies guys. I bought the PSU and it's working great. The fan noise is also very minimal. Apologies. I'm kinda new around here. Will double check the sub-forum from now on.
  5. My current power supply has started to fail so I'm looking for a new PSU and came across an FSP Aurum 600W unit for a very good price (I'm not from around the US). The last video Linus has uploaded about a FSP power supply was like 3 years ago but it did got some pretty big bananas from him. So should I be ok if I go with this PSU? It has Gold plus efficiency rating and also comes with a whopping 5 years warranty.
  6. I already tried clearing CMOS but it didn't work. I'm gonna try replacing my PSU.
  7. When I turn on my PC, right after about 2 seconds it shuts itself down automatically and after another 1 or 2 seconds starts itself back up and continues to restart like this in an endless loop until I plug the system out of the wall. The screen is completely black and it doesn't even show the start up BIOS screen of my Gigabyte motherboard. My system is just 11 months old, except for my PSU which was also used in a previous setup and I don't have any overclocked components, not even the graphics card (which is running on factory OC). I first encountered this issue like 2 months ago but it happened only once and somehow got fixed automatically. During that time, I ran numerous tests including mem test and stress testing CPU and GPU but all of them came positive. Now the problem is back again and its been like this for 2 days. Can someone please give me advice on how to resolve this issue? My system specifications CPU: Intel Core i5 4570 Board: Gigabyte Sniper B5 RAM: Single stick of 8GB @ 1600MHz (Kingston) Graphics card: MSI GTX 760 Gaming HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB PSU: Cooler Master GX 550W Bronze (this PSU is 3 years old now, could it be the culprit?)
  8. Hi. I would like to know whether the following PSU be able to run a single factory overclocked AMD R9 290 video card (XFX Black Edition or Sapphire Tri-X) My other system specs: Intel Core i5 4570 CPU Single stick of 8GB @ 1600MHz 1x SSD and 2x HDDs Can I safely use the R9 290 video card with the above mentioned PSU?
