If you want something simple then Deathadder + 1 Hands down the best mouse i've ever used. It feels so natural to my hand that it makes all other mouse feels weird when I use them.

This is just an update ... NCIX deemed the board defective and I got the refund for it. Switched to Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P and the noise is gone.

I tried usb dac as well it seems like the noise comes from the usb port. I'm using studio monitor so it's much more sensitive than usual speakers but I never had problem before with my previous Gigabyte motherboard. Guess I'll see if I can get a refund and switch brands. This is rather horrifying.

Also the onboard soundcard is noisy as hell too..

Hi guys, I just bought an Asus M5A97 R2.0 and I ran into some serious problem with audio. No matter what I do there are always electrical noise in headsets, speakers. I'm using a dedicated Onkyo PCI soundcard and it never had any problems like this. I tried putting the motherboard on a test bench and it's noisy as hell, same in the case. My friend who has Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 has the same problem too. Is there any remedy for this problem? Honestly I'm rather disappointed in Asus now... Thanks guys

try install "everything" onto the your brother's motherboard and see if there's errors .. if there's no error then your best bet is just to get a new motherboard. ( but honestly you should just get a new cpu + mobo bundle if that's the case )

Try installing Windows 7 if you have a copy of that ... might be the drivers that's causing all the issues. Also update the BIOS to the latest edition.

Your 550Ti is outperforming 780Ti , Nvidia wants your graphics card back and will offer you $1000 for it. But that's only a dream =) In all seriousness , make sure you sweep driver before changing brands. Minecraft isn't all that graphic intensive at all =P

Forgot to put the motherboard stand onto the case when I was installing and shorted out the motherboard and wonders why it kept on crashing randomly

Been done with that game for a long time .... it was good while it lasted.

Take out one stick of your RAM each time and try if anything improves or run MemTest as above said. And did you do a driver sweep before you install new graphic cards ?

Solution : Dual-boot , Win 8 for daily usage and Win 7 for games. =D

How about gameplay wise ? :blink: They both look more like PS2 games to me lol
