  1. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d9JGpG Good afternoon my fellow enthusiasts! We are COMPLETE!!! Couldn’t be a happier feeling than a working mod. First, we need to clean and prep our trusty ol’ Phenom II Then we can slap on some Arctic MX-4 paste in preparation to install that beastly Freezer eSports Duo cooler Cooler installed with our custom AM3 mounts, nice and snug Drives are in and mounted! That cooler is so over kill…. But cable management for the win! Tip of the Day…. Label those drives! Getting Ubuntu server installed We are up and running! Time to get PLEX set up so the family stops bugging me for movie access *laughs* That’s it until we are up and fully running with our RAID and software flying high! Otherwise we are switching gears to work on our Honda Prelude PC mod!
  2. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d9JGpG Good morning fellow modders! So lets get another update on Node Zero and get the PSU shroud created! We first found our piece of material and cut and bent it into shape. Then test fit it with the HDD cages. Then cutting the holes for the grommets was easy as 1..2…..3 Then a dash of paint… and presto! Time to hide those nasty cables. And…. bam! Power cables managed and look at all that SATA power just sitting there waiting to be utilized. Next time we install the HDD cages and get this bad boy up and running!!
  3. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d9JGpG Good morning fellow modders and world takers! We have begun the work on Node Zero! First we need to get to painting…. the handles specifically. Use that good ol’ Krylon in damn that’s bright yellow! Getting that PSU in place…. Just an old Raidmax 500w, but it works well and keeps steady power for my drives! I love how this case has the ability to use 2 PSUs Time to install these beautiful yellow Arctic fans! 6 fans to keep air moving! It’s a good start… but we need to get our sponsors and designs cut and placed! Sooo…. We requested the Freezer 34 Duo knowing that it’s only AM4 compatible. So of course what we need to do is fabricate and mod our own solution yes? Annnnd…. Finished. Just needs a coat of paint =D Thanks for tuning in guys! Keep an eye out for more updates soon. Much love! <3
  4. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pkKk29 Hey all! I had a couple minutes last night so I took a picture of the car’s bumper and recreated the lettering. Now the design is really coming together!!!
  5. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pkKk29 Goood afternoon my fellow PC nuts and Luder lovers! First, let’s get some love for a bath for #AcidDragon as she sits in the driveway Now that we know what we are working towards….. Let’s start changing this Thermaltake Commander C34 case! First let’s get this front panel off by using a gentle prying motion with a flat screwdriver to release the 4 clips Those 200mm of RGB goodness (Thermaltake included front intake fans) Now we can get the grills removed and get them painted green to match the grill on #AcidDragon A tip for painting outside, cover with a clear tub/container to prevent dust, leaves, bugs and anything else floating around while the paint dries Always several super light coats for the win! While I waited for the paint to cure, I began unboxing hardware and getting it installed to test fit and prep the system to plan out our loop and placement of the “turbo” pump. Starting with this sexy EVGA Z390 FTW motherboard…and fitting the Thermaltake Pacific CPU cooler to it Next up our 120GB TeamGroup SSD! Finally, let’s install this Thermaltake ToughPower 850W PSU! A bit overpowered for this build’s purpose…. But so is the watercooling haha The paint hasn’t fully cured, but now is dry and can be installed back in place! The case is looking sexy so far! Hopefully I will have time to get some more work this Friday and have another update for you next week!!! Stay classy fellow modders and friends!!!
  6. That's unfortunate to hear that you got held back from getting a fun car because of the laws. Luckily in my state there's not many regulations and I'm lucky to be in one of the counties without smog requirements too..... so goodbye CAT lol. Glad you were still able to get a Honda though and big win on being able to get the JDM version. That being said... welcome aboard!
  7. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pkKk29 What is up my friends and fellow PC gurus! Just wanted to take a post to give a huge thanks to our sponsors! First off, we have Thermaltake who has been gracious enough to send not only the Commander 34 case, but all the watercooling gear we need and the power to make it all work. Moving on, we come to EVGA. They were kind enough to send over a EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 to go with our EVGA FTW Z390 board. Third, we come to our partners over at ModMyMods! They are sending us a Alphacool block for the 1070 and some misc modding materials and cables. And last but certainly not least, we are proud to announce that ArtMods will be providing the cruicial 3D printed parts to make this build a reality! Am super excited as he is an incredible fabricator and can paint realistic designs on almost anything! In other news, below are two video links. The first is our hardware reveal for the mod and the second is our case review on the Commander C34 case! Don’t forget to sub to the channel to not miss out on the other reviews coming soon. #PreludePC Hardware Reveal(Well...most of it) Thermaltake Commander C34 Case Review https://youtu.be/MVJv9P4pvb4 (Video goes live June 19th at Noon PST) Thanks for sticking with us so far! Can’t wait to get you more content soon!
  8. Thanks! I wanted something that would just pop in design but simplistic. And as for Arctic, I've had nothing but positive experience with their entire team. The link below is a how to video we did on using their monitor wall mounts.
  9. PCPartPicker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d9JGpG What is up my fellow modders! Let me introduce you to our next project Node Zero! BACKGROUND Node Zero was conceptualized as our move back home on the west coast meant leaving our staircase server hub back in Tennessee. Now that I’ve been back home in NV for the past year, I have been missing not only our PLEX and Gaming servers, but our backups and our RAID 5 system. Because of this, I started brainstorming a new case to house our server hardware, something that could handle many HDDs. After searching around, I just didn’t like what I saw and didn’t want to go slim server rack(and of course money issues prevents a couple grand for a server) So we are replacing this case with a Nanoxia Rexgear Hydra 2 Mining case, and modding it to accept up to 12 HDDs and an SSD or two. OLD SERVER CASE HYDRA 2 CONCEPT HYDRA 2 CASE(Stock Photos) Here in this YouTube video we unbox the Arctic cooling gear and the Nanoxia HDD bays. Also has hardware going into our Honda Prelude PC mod. https://youtu.be/xiwT1sEO_3Y Have a wonderful day and I hope you are excited as I am to see this build come together!!!
  10. That's awesome! Love my '00 prelude currently. And I'm looking at buying this '87 for a couple hundred (has engine issues after being ran on bad gas)
  11. Haha thanks! Yeah I knew the oil leak jokes would start coming out of the woodwork! But I can't be offended for the truth haha. Still trying to find a leak with my lude lol
  12. The current plan for the cables is to make or use Sickspeed spark plug combs, cramming 24 wires into 4 sleeves might be hard... however, putting the GPU power cables into heatshrink might not be out of reach. Thanks for the suggestion! Haha love the passion and memories! One of the reasons I love the Lude is all the memories people share about having one and how much fun they had driving it(stock or modified). Your description had my heart racing a little bit, to hear it lope would be such a beautiful sound! I hope I can do this mod right so it brings back great memories for a lot of others like yourself.
  13. It's going to be tricky to make for sure, but I have high hopes! Welcome aboard, I usually get an update out once every couple weeks so please bear with me.
