  1. The answer is no, its just that because of social media people with pre-existing narcicistic tendancies are not only rewarded for their behaviour (with interest from social media) but also get far more exposure then they ever would have in the past. So no the number of narcisists has not gone up, just their visibility in society.
  2. alternatively you could just soak it in a bath of isopropl alcohol, wouldnt do any harm to the chip and should loosen/dissolve the stuff ?
  3. isopropl alcohol and a very fine needle with some tissue on it. you'll be fine Just dont bend anything if you can.
  4. I am quite happy with the service I'm getting here and we have I think 4-5 different ISP options in my area, that's just for fixed line there's also WIMAX and 4G options
  5. Hey, So one thing you might want to do is check that the soldering to the front panel audio connectors is done properly, as much of a bother as electrical cross talk is, i've had way more issues with bad soldering joints on speakers etc. Beyond that you could try something simple like wrapping the FP audio cables in say some kind of shielding material like say aluminium foil (1-2 layers wrapped about the cable as a test) to help isolate it from the crosstalk. If it works, you can get some 3m aluminium tape to replace the foil
  6. It does make you wonder if someone will take some of the NSA hacks for Linux etc and use them to distrubute hacks.. >.>
  7. Hey gabe! Welcome to the team, your such a cutie
  8. i like the new gal, don't recall her name. Blue hair, broke the test bench, etc
  9. Well, firstly check the board manufacturers references. That'll show what they've tested it with, 2ndly its apparently running at speeds over 3000 that can cause issues along with using up all banks of memory. Now firmware updates are apparently fixing these issues but those are the main sticking points at the moment
  10. Well.. this is going to be something else. Thanks for the update
  11. Did someone say furry ?:)
  12. Hmmm.. a 1600 instead of the 1600X, aside from the 65vs 95w TDP what other differences are there ?:D
  13. Interesting, it was the 1600x I was looking at there.. but it still shows out of stock to me O_O
  14. So.. I went off to build a PC today, been adding and removing bits to the cart all evening as I plot things out. Just noticed that the Ryzen 5 1600x I added today... is already sold out. And it's sold out on Amazon.co.uk.. and on a few other sites. So is this because of low initial stock or is it just that popular?
