Ah yes, 3D printer news. It's been a while!

    Production timeline:

Okay okay okay, before we jump into this, this Kickstarter still has 29 days to go and has already raised $570,000. I can see why everybody's excited though, because you get quite a bit for $300, and the actual printer is a fairly nice size (aka, it's not incredibly small to make it cheap).

To this though, I raise the $100 Peachy Printer.

The only problem with the Peachy Printer is that yes it's uber cheap, but what you're getting for that price is something that will more than likely only 3D print really small stuff. Not saying it's bad or anything.

Anyways, back to The Micro, you get that full 3D printing luxury in a nice-sized 3D printer all for $300. Oh if only I had money to throw around right now, because I'd back this in a heartbeat.

Fulfillment of Kickstarter awards will be given out anywhere from August 2014 - March 2015, so I think it's safe to say that we won't see this product on shelves until late 2015 or sometime in 2016. Either way, The Micro 3D printer is definitely something to get excited about!
