  1. I would recommend just saving and getting this as a work/light gaming computer. https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-i7559-2512BLK-Generation-GeForce/dp/B015PYZ0J6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493753733&sr=8-1&keywords=inspiron+gaming+15
  2. ok so defiantly get the 1400 not any Intel ones then?
  3. then whats the point of the 1500X?
  4. He wants a CPU that can overclock And correct me if Im wrong but Im pretty sure that the 1400 cant overclock
  5. So my friend needs a new CPU because he was dumb when he built his computer the first time and built it with the 50$ athalon. So basically he needs a new cpu within the 200$ range that is good for gaming also he want to know if its worth getting the Ryzen 5 1500X or an Intel CPU that can overclock. Thanks for the help.

    New GPU

Hey so my friend recently got 300$ for his birthday/money saved over time and he asked me if I could get him a better gpu to play games such as ARMA 3 on High at 1080p (He started noticing some lag when playing at high on his 1050 so he bumped it down to regular,1080p). I recommended he wait for the RX 580 to come out as its better than his GTX 1050 and is reasonably cheap. But i wanted to see if anyone else could come up with a better option than that so yea.
  8. Finna make a uber cheap NAS. Using:

    -RaspberryPi 3 Model B (CanaKit)

    -2TB WD My Passport

    - Open Media Vault

    :)

You're doing what I did! I never used mine though. Don't need a TB of storage on my network lol

I made a 1.8TB NAS using an old AMD E-350 motherboard. I can nearly saturate a gigabit connection and I can have one drive fail before I lose data

  9. If you want an affordable that will work fine i would recommend the AMD Athalon X4 860k
