  1. Do you cover up the fins during painting. Since use good quality paint does it effect performance on the rad or the difference is insignificant.
  2. There not a lot of glass tubing build out there but as for right now i rather put my bet by going through this build. The op post update frequently and answer question in detail so its helpfull.
  3. Noted i myself avoided petg due to issues it has so i prefer arylic. But by the looks of it the process is very straight forward but not easy i guess. I am looking forward on ur finish build maybe i will grab some glass tubing but the problem i have here quality items like diamond tip blade or diamond tip file are not carried by my local shop here.
  4. But honestly i did sleeving for my own build and concluded that i would rather offsource this work to my local modder rather then doing it myself. The money you spend, time consumed and all the patience and effort you put in is somehow only rewarding for urself. As 3rd person view looking at the sleeved and tidy cables makes u think its cool but not to a level of awesome where people are more attracted to the loop, components and rgb. Unless is someone who closely monitor ur progress then they know how difficult and time consuming it is and the efforts are appreciated. My take on this somehow sleeving can be easily glanced away as a typical thing and not of a big deal and that conflicts when you spend so much time and money to make it look good.
  5. Thats awesome but can u go through my latest comment wt is your opinion on that commend about working on glass tubing.
  6. Noted but as for copper build i have seen so far there are better build if u have the right tools. Glass tubing is something new. Personally i would like to use them but to cut them to length u need proper and expensive tools. I do have some question. Do u grind the surface of the glass tubing since you use your power tools and just cutting them will end up with sharp edges that will damage ur o-rings. If u grind them does it turn brittle. Is it fine to handle glass tubing or do u have to be fragile with it. Honestly if someone is thinking of using glass tubing for their build. How would u rate them in terms of actually working on them. I mean for the money and time you spend is it worth it or u can just get if off by using good aryclic tubing with some polish is quiet crystal clear.
  7. Is it possible to bend the glass tubing. My guess u need a flexible metal bender and a torch. I'm not sure just asking whether is possible. So far i learned a lot from ur build expecially the recommendation of sleeve and pins. Probably going to take my time again after the build is done to go through the entire post. Probably I have some questions I will like to ask if it's not answered in the old post.
  8. I did it on my be quiet case and had no issue. The frame on some part of the case is very thin but it was fine for me. After sand blasting I just send to paint shot to get it painted.
  9. Sorry I did mention in the tittle it's just a preview not review. It's not easy to make a proper review unless a have a wtc rig standby to explain from scratch in detail since it's no point reviewing it on a open test bench. I just made this post to show the assemble process and the differences compare to conventional res. I'm in works in making a proper review so till then pls dont jump to conclusion.
  10. True. I always continue to support them. Wt they currently have and going to offer soon are some amazing stuff. I see them as a genuine competitor in wtc market. If wt they have is better then we can see enthusiast soon using their products in more build.
  11. Singularity Computers Core Mount comes in 2 pack (Available in variety different colours) Assembling is very straight forward. Removes the screw from the 4 handles. Allign them and just screw them together. Next screw the back bracket Now lets have a look at singularity computers reservoir and its accessories The reservoir box have measurements of the reservoir which is helpful in case u wan to refer to the dimensions Once open the box you are greeted with singularity computers stop fittings Reservoir is placed inside a protective plastic cover The beauty about this res after u dismantle the the black ring u can move the top facing any direction you want. Remove the top and there is a white o ring to go with the frosted top. Once u fix a position. U can just screw down the black ring to hold its position. Same goes to the bottom Now lets have a look at the D5 top (Frosted version) U will see the top is packaged in an anti static bag Come with a white oring and some screws that can be used to mount the top. (Bottom VIEW) Top VIew Can be used as a standalone unit or can be used as an upgrade kit with existing protium res to make it into a single unit. To use it with protium res just unscrew the top unit. There is an oring inside that u dont have to remove. Leave it as it is. To mount protium res to the d5 top. Remove the bottom unit and attached it with the top. Before that unscrew the flow channel tube and screw it to the d5 top Keeps the rest of these accessories save back into the box if u wanted to use it back in the future After combining the res and d5 top Next is the D5 cover. Is covered in the anti static bag once u opened the box Inside you have the D5 cover and bottom plate. The rubber which is provided is removed and placed on the plate which helps to cushion the d5. Once assembled with the res of the unit To use the reservoir core mount to mount the res to the radiator are as follows. FInd the small screws which can be find in the radiator box that you have bought. Use these screw and mount the core to the radiator. If u dont have these small screws. Just get them from ur local hardware shop. Next remove the 4 screws holding the core highlighted in yellow and place the res u prefer and screw it back. Fully assembled Last but not least for the protium d5 cover. Due to its modular design. If u have a manual pump and u want to change the speed. U can just remove the bottom cover without the need to bleed the entire loop and remove the cover. Thanks for having a look. A very modular design for this reservoir and the accessories. Enthusiast or even beginners will love this. Current offerings by ekwb, bitspower or alphacool have limitation and arent this flexible in design. Not to mention the quality is solid due to aluminium cnc parts. The frosted version looks incredible but they also offer other choice like polished aryclic and acetal.
  12. Tk bro cant wait to see ur done too. That amount of bitspower fittings. Sure cost you a bomb.
  13. Great build but need more in depth shots.
  14. Im done still waiting for a vinyl sticker for the sli bridge to support my favorite computer shop. So far the rig is complete. I tried my best but managing 12 fan cables with custom extension. The hard part was the gpu and mobo cables. It used 16awg wires which is very thick and incredible difficult to get it organized since i gave all the cables extra length since its was my first time to sleeve and make own custom cables. The sata cables was also troublesome due to one sata cables is longer then the other.
