  1. Depends where you are from. Here in Australia, I would recommend Gumtree and ebay for these older GPUS.
  2. For the gaming headset I can confidently recommend the Corsair VOID Wireless gaming Headset. With its 50mm Drivers, Dobly Sound and 7.1 enabled surround sound config, it is the ideal wireless headset. I have this headset and its battery lasts many hours in long gaming sessions.
  3. Hello, I am looking to increase my FPS, especially in simulation games such as BeamNG Drive, Brick Rigs which rely heavily on good hardware to spawn in lots of objects and items. For example in Brick Rigs, vehicles are made up of lots of separate brick objects which I assume require lots of computation power from the CPU for physics and a combination of GPU power for rendering and graphical workloads. But I noticed while monitoring my CPU and GPU when I spawned in lots of objects, the Frame Rate dropped to about 20fps while the CPU did not maintain 90-100% workload and the GPU only at about 30% workload. My VRAM and RAM has lots of memory to spare. I also noticed after I de-spawned all of the objects I previously spawned in, the workload of both CPU and GPU dropped to about 20% then WITHOUT SPAWNING MORE OBJECTS IN, the GPU went up to 100% workload while the CPU went up to 50% workload. My PC specs: i5 4690K clocked at 4.2ghz Asus R9 Fury 4gb VRAM not oc 16GB RAM Corsair XMS3 DDR3 clocked at 1600mhz NOTE- Both the CPU and GPU only reached about 60-65 Degrees MAX I like to run the simulation games at high settings so I was wondering would it be necessary and if so, what hardware components would I have to upgrade in order to have a smooth fps and have room to spawn in lots of objects and items in simulation games such as Brick Rigs, BeamNG.
  4. Is it okay to use Monitor headphones for listening to music on a phone and as daily drivers? Some people say that monitor headphones are SPECIFICALLY designed for professional use such as editing music, sound and monitoring but others say it is great for listening to music?
  5. When you say it sounded more distant than the default pads, do you mean the sound felt like it was in more of a concert hall or the sound was more "natural" sounding than the stock pads?
  6. @Max_Settings @motorrad166 I tried the M50x demo headphones at a store and I felt very comfortable with the stock earpads so I may stick to them.
  7. Thank you , explains why the iphone 4 is so cheap on ebay
  8. Thank you for the reply. I will buy the M40x
  9. Thank you for the reply. For example, if I were to use the Audio Technica ATH-M40x, do you think there would be any noticeable differences?
  10. No, I am currently using my iPhone 5 as my daily phone (checking emails, music, facebook). I just have an iPhone 4 laying around and I was wondering if I also should carry that around for the additional boost in music as well as saving storage on my iPhone 5 and transferring all my music to my iPhone 4.
  11. You could try plugging your fan headers (which I'm assuming which are 3pin) directly to your Power supply via a 3pin to 4pin adapter. I have done this with 3 of my fans for a year now and I haven't ran into any problems. I am using a Thermaltake Litepower 750W PSU
  12. Could you explain why the M20X is "garbage" compared to the M40X?
  13. Okay this may seem dumb but is it worth it to downgrade to my iPhone 4 instead of using my iPhone 5 for listening to music? In this article (https://www.engadget.com/2012/10/02/iphone-vs-rivals-audio-tests/), different phones are given a score based on their "Loudness", "Dynamic Range", "Distortion", "Hiss" and "Quality". The iPhone 4(iPhone 4s has the same audio circuitry) had a significant better score in the Loudness factor and a minor improvement in the Dynamic Range and Quality factor over the iPhone 5 (scores are same in the Distortion and Hiss). Does this also mean that the iPhone 4 is able to handle headphones with higher impedance outputs than the iPhone 5? and excluding the fact that the iphone 5 has a faster IOS, processor, improved screen and ergonomics, is it worth it to downgrade to the iPhone 4 for a noticeable difference in sound quality when listening to music using headphones? Thanks
  14. I am looking to buy the Audio Technica ATH-M40x ($130 aud) or Audio Technica ATH-M20x ($80 aud) for non-professional use. I will use this headphone with my iPhone 5 for listening to music (all types of music genres but prefer more emphasis on mid and highs then bass). I am used to high end headphones, my past headphones is the Panasonic RP-HC200 NC. It had a good balance with treble, mids and bass and did not over-emphasis the bass compared to Sony Extra Bass headphones which I hate because it sometimes drowns some of the mids in a song. Is it worth it to pay an additional $50 aud to upgrade from the M20x to the M40x? Thanks!
